We all are the lone trooper. for all we have our own personal battles to fight alone.
I always thought the “lone trooper” was the commando or even the zone commando even tho they wherent in the second tib war.
I can easily fall asleep when I hear TS music... Stunning!
When a lone GDI soldier meets a lone Nod soldier on the battlefield and both realize what's the point of this whole conflict in the first place, especially when the Earth itself is literally dying to an extraterrestrial plague.
This kind of sounds like it could have been a Tiberium Wars soundtrack :p

You guys are doing such a fantastic job hyping this game up. Teasing us with these A+ remixes with the atmospheric-as-heck visuals in the background to show us "yes, this is 100% Tiberian Sun". The me from 21 years ago is absolutely bawling from nostalgia right now
Really cool rendition of lone trooper, reminds me of a less intense version of Twisted Insurrections ‘Still Alone’ version
In the original the lone trooper theme, the beeping sounds always made me think of sonic weapons like disruptors and stuff.
This is the remix I was most eager for, and boy does it hit all the right notes! The original Lone Trooper was the grim state of humanity, followed by GDI's perseverance in the face of that to protect humanity and the hope they had to build a better future for those who followed.
This takes that, but goes to the Lone Trooper's POV rather than the EVA view that McNeil has. It begins with the grimness of seeing the aftermath of a Nod raid, the slaughter of innocents for whatever mad experiments or avaricious desires Nod had. but as it shifts on ( 1:40 ) it becomes remembering why he (or she) joined GDI - the ideals, the hope of a better world. Yes, things are grim and that is ever-present throughout the entire track (2:45), but if GDI let hopelessness stop them they never would have survived the Tiberium Age as it claimed whole nations. The horrible things seen will haunt the Lone Trooper for as long as he (or she) lives, but life can be better. It WILL be better. And GDI had already helped so many (3:01) by then, even as there are so many more in need. Duty never ends, especially as long as Nod continues to try and accelerate the suffering of humanity out of their desire to build a Tiberium future without thinking as to what it would require to actually *survive* said future.
By, 4:21, the Lone Trooper has hardened his (or her) despair at what has been seen into determination - the world WILL become a better place. Nod's madness WILL be ended.
And if it can't be stopped, if courage fails and the end times come, it will not be for a lack of effort by GDI and the lone troopers that become comrades and friends in the process.

My most favorite part is at 4:21, it always makes me feel refreshed and motivated at my place of work. (I work nights)
I got so used with this Hollywood sci-fi movies to the point I forgot there is a better and bigger sci-fi universe, the one of games.
Just listening to this track disconnects you from the crazy reality we are living in.

Hi Renegade X Devs! I'm a Big fan of this franchise (shame EA didn't continue it) But us fans did! I just want to ask a quick question!When the firestorm update comes out will be able to update the Renegade X to to the firestorm update or we have to Re-download the game? Thanks Renegade X dev team to revive this masterpiece!
It is likely that FS will be part of the RenX client, fully integrated as a new gamemode inside of it. You will only need to patch/update your game.
