    I’ve got mine Carpuride for almost a year now, can’t do without it anymore. I had a TomTom rider 450 and the carpuride is way more flexible in app. I love it.

    Thanks for this review! Just ordered mine. Got it for under two hundred dollars on sale from Carpuride's site. For the price and features it can't be beat. All I need is my music and maps, just like in the car. This seems perfect for that.

    Connect your phone to the Cardo (not the Carpuride) and then you should be able to use voice commands (OK, Google). Also, if you wet the tip of your glove finger, you should be able to use the touch with any pair of gloves. (Your choice how you wish to wet your finger. :-))

    Wow, yet ANOTHER video showing that you can navigate with it. Is that all people use it for?!! AA is also for hands free calling and hands free texting. Would you PLEASE do a video showing if this works without having to touch anything, just like you would on a car stereo? Thanks.

    how do you secure it to the bike when you leave your bike unattended? Or is it easy to disconnect to take with you?

    • @smackbikeNZ
      @smackbikeNZ  25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Just have it attached via the quadlock attachment. I don't bother removing tbh, since it looks "built in" so hoping nobody has a go. However, it is a 10second job to remove it, just detach from quadlock mount, and manually unscrew the cable behind it.
      Not as cool as an integrated mount, but you "get what you pay for"

    Can it show the Google maps Navigation for Motorcycle? My unit shows only for Car Navigation in google map it doesn’t mirror motorcycles navigation!! Any one face same issue ?

    • @smackbikeNZ
      @smackbikeNZ  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not sure what the difference is, they both show road navigation.. regardless if 2 or 4 wheels. If you want offroad type capability, any App you have that supports android auto or carplay on your phone will be available, yes.

    • @chandorkaramitt
      @chandorkaramitt 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Most of the time Two wheelers in India are not allowed on express highways and only cars can use them . Hence Google maps exactly shows the two wheeler maps avoiding these routes in any Android and IPhone but unfortunately it doesn’t mirror that navigation on this wireless unit ! It shows only Car routes so for motorcycle riders it comes as a bummer some time !!

    • @smackbikeNZ
      @smackbikeNZ  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @chandorkaramitt have you tried "avoid motorways" in Google Maps..? otherwise, do you have any mobile app that supports this, then you are likely to have it available.on the device.

    • @chandorkaramitt
      @chandorkaramitt 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Google maps are best considering live traffic and finding destination . I have used vaze sygic zumo bmw garmin all types of navigation and finally settled on Google maps and its offline maps capabilities. Also tried avoid motorways and then google maps show us weird navigation through unknown unpaved routes as well as small small villages 😂
      Hence just trying to figure out can I wirelessly cast the in built google navigation for two wheelers on our Wireless units, such as car navigation works flawlessly on it !!!

    Absolutely hyped crap. It doesn't do anything other than mirror the phone. Unfortunately, most of the apps that are interesting for motorcyclists are poorly implemented in Android Auto/AppleCarPlay! Which means you can't zoom... functions are missing. And you end up fiddling around with your phone again. This is for people who drive from A to B with Maps or who want to make a lot of compromises... I think it's crap.

      So using CarPlay this would of course require the iPhone to be using its own GPS right? For all day rides I think I’d have to figure out how to charge my phone in my pocket if so. Also have you tried the Carpuride in rain, does the screen still work properly?
