Bro I wish I knew about the archetype ring earlier 😅😢 I’m at the final boss and gave up grinding the tyrant star after maxing all the protagonist’s archetypes. I could’ve maxed all my character’s. I’m stuck on the destroyer chary final boss, and am doing the secret version, so every stat point counts.
No I completely agree. Hard should be the minimum to somehow enjoy this game with a decent challenge. But Regicide on first play through would be much more fun i think.
I had issues when i was at that tower the first time near virga. They slapped me so hard i dished through like 50 healing items and 20 MP items and then i grinded a shit load. I never grinded before in that game, but beating every enemy that i saw. I must admit, i did make it myself a little harder by not picking the stronger archetypes, rather using the first ones of each archetype to max rank and then go to the next, so i could have made it a lot easier for me..xD
The list is pretty subjective, which is to be expected. That being said, I can't see Dodger Ring deserving a spot in the top ten. Without setup, such as having Third Eye as a passive, the odds of it helping even one out of ten battles isn't great. Utilitarian Manual being the top pick is definitely justified though. Out of every accessory in the game, I'd say that you'd never regret having it or Venomward Charm on a character.
The Dodger Ring on my fairly high level Heismey carried me through the final month of game time. Give him Knight's Proclamation with evasion passives and stack agility and he almost never gets hit, immediately ending the enemy's turn. It even works if an enemy fires off an AoE and he dodges. It's pretty powerful.
@XRWKET It's powerful but it's only particularly useful on one archetype lineage or with an inherited skill from that lineage. You also described it being useful because of setup, which I mentioned.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Ryne. Dodger Ring needs to be setup indeed. Its just that I really find it useful if you will make a build around it. What's your top three though?
@@JRPGSamurai That's fair. I didn't even use Heismay in my first playthrough after I recruited Junah, which definitely affects my ranking. My top three are probably Utilitarian, Overlord, and Venomward.
i would say that phantasmal doll carried most of my magic setups, with overlord's sash being the 2nd, and utilitarian manual for my niche gunner build, but gamblers manual will always be the goat phys build most of the time. full moon medal kinda mid since it cannot be stacked with passive skills.
agree with most of this tbh. although i think overlord sash is overvalued here since the best synergies are all supporting ones, not damaging ones. using 2 turns on a damaging move just isn't worth it most of the time, which is why the only great synergy dps is strohl, since he has overlord sash effect on a weapon and can equip manual to use double cost and strength 1 action cost synergies. Gamblers manual and utilitarian manual i found the most useful overall accessories, with how little defense matters lategame thanks to royal thief ending turns and how easily you can get extra actions, fights just last 1-2 turns, even against superboss on highest difficulty. So stat boost accessories become the next best thing if you haven't hit certain stats yet and your character doesn't need either manual.
I love to use gamblers and utili. Really empowers most of the builds. Sash is fine I think and yeah I can see some arguments where it can be outshine by the Gamblers. Still a good accessory. love the strat about the thief as well, thanks for sharing your insights.
Bro i dont know why, the new patch make the royal sword insanely hard to deal crit,i mean i use all set up team for increasing crtitical from royal sword but still hard to get one, from 5 rewind i only get one crit in the new game+ hard
I’m level 45 and I’m on the skybound avatar, what do I do??? It’s getting so difficult and it feels like my skills are doing 39 damage every damn time.. I swear I’m not this incompetent with other smt games
Its ok. One thing you can do is if its ok, I suggest lowering down the difficulty for a while while you grind for levels in Sky avatar. Find spots there that close to a save point so you can respawn the enemies. if you have lots of gold you can use full tycoon setup to take out any target in sky avatar and in the final dungeon. This is only an option of you really find your self stuck. But if you want the challenge which I prefer personally, use your regular setup and crawl your way to level up slowly.
@ I’ve been on easy since I got here, I’ve been doing quests to slowly build my way up, archetypes aren’t that difficult to build ect, I feel like the leveling in this game is more based off of side quests, considering it is sort of a new system.

Aw if you made this far I believe in you. Yeah there are a lot of things that this game does not tell the player at all.
Love the video man. Good stuff.
Glad to know Ajice! Surely more guides are coming. Have fun!
Nice vid
Thanks Cass!
What about the kings crown accessory?? Or did you leave it out on purpose?🤔
Hello HalfHeart! The gear will have their own list or video.
reverent crown isnt an accessory
Yeap!
I wish we could do fresh Regicide runs. This game is fairly easy IMO and I would love to have that challenge.

Thanks for the insight. Those are top tier accessories indeed. Until now i am finding cool combination with the doll.

@JRPGSamurai idk is it valid or nah, might be just me who get ulucky AF 🥲
@ I bid you the best of luck then! Praying to the RNG gods!
@@Farhanyessirr its just you man, i just finished the game and i critted the final boss with royal sword by 20k dmg
@fyiradz9744 me too, but it's just more hard to triggered the crit when i use royal sword than with other skill :(
the dodger ring isn't at the shop for me
You need to progress Alonzo's bond if this is the case. IIRC, Rank 7
