Do you have any useful tips to new players not mentioned in this video? P.S. I got a little mixed up with the tips numbers in the video due to an error in my notes. Sorry about that.
Tips 6 extra save before appraising, because you get random loot. Save if you like and rinse and repeat. Exemple junk that worth 50 were iron, but by rerolling you can get silver equipment
Two tips for archetypes mastery 1) Maxing a class gives your character a permanent stat increase depending on which class reached rank 20 2) even when reach rank 20, you can still gain exp with that mastered class. Reach 1000 exp to get Hero Leaf item that can be invested in a different class.
To add to this, there are two bonus Archetype exp items you get in the 3rd main hub. (One from vendor on Wednesday, and other is from completing bronze arena). Combine that with the Merchant and you will have a ton of money and free exp items.
for virtues, for example reading a book. you will gain more virtue by answering correctly but for followers, it doesn't help leveling the relationship faster
@afizsouji are you 100% positive? Because I've heard from a couple of different sources that you're awarded a flat bonus every time you read, then another flat bonus once you finish the book. There seems to be a lot of conflicting info ATM.
@@chrisg1556 I am not sure about other virtues but like books, you will get a music note if you answer correctly and the opposite if answer wrong. and it does effect whether you get 3 points or 4 points (or more on certain books). Certain virtues with your followers also does the same like playing chess with hulkenberg.
Character interactions for ranking up their bond is only mag and doesnt affect the system. Virtues thou if you pick wrong you get less points. So the tip in the video is correct.
Mana runs are time consuming but you end with a lot of resources and a few sneaky levels from doing it. If you care about doing a main mission dungeon in 1 day it's basically mandatory early on. Edit: Tip 2 Changing between Frontline and Backline is completely free in combat. This means if you're going to taunt on the knight. Remember to put them in the back row first. Seems obvious, I played half of the first mission dungeon before realising. Even if any character is buffing, there is no reason to be in the front row doing it. If you get a weakness (bonus action) and the knight gets two turns. You can taunt, backrow and then guard. Making the Knight an actual tank. There's an accessory from the shop only open at night. I highly recommend getting the one that makes guard only cost half an action. It essentially makes guard give a bonus action on the knight and curves the cons to being defensive.
Recommending people to go STR on the MC is a red flag. You dont get any magic focused companions until midgame and you will be kneecapping the team if you dont play a caster on hard
I chose Magic for MC but STR is normally so much better in late and endgame for SMT games. 1 because of crits and 2 because of multihits. Tho since this game is a lil different it's hard to see if there's builds that might guarantee crits without seeking spoilers.
I thought the same thing until yesterday when I had to fight the cathedral boss on hard. I retry like 5 times until I used a 3 warrior party, that allows you to use a severe physical damage attack, and I finish the boss in about 4 turns
I go 1 str, 1 agi, 1 luck and rinse and repeat. I may be spreading myself a bit too thin but I don't care. First few levels went for str only to get stats a bit higher after loosing some points for picking up the "sharp mind" answer early on which gave a boost to early magic stat.
Good tips my guy. I subbed. One thing is you can, at least in the first Cathedral dungeon early on, keep those red crystals up and don't destroy them. They spawn Skeletons OVER AND OVER so you can just grind MP regen with the Mage and it one taps them on the overworld.
good video, but for your first playthrough: do not use a guide or watch spoilers you are gonna ruin 50% of the game for you; i know nowadays it is normal to guidethrough, but you are shooting your own foot...trust me do it on a 2nd playthrough
Using a guide for the "right" conversation choices is pointless anyway. You're awarded with extra mag only. It doesn't actually level you up faster. It's not like Persona. Those little triangle notes when giving an answer represent the extra mag you get.
TagThe Legend, can you do video or spreadsheet showing how you progressed your characters? You recommend characters go towards strength, but we do know when to toward warrior from Mage or vice versa.
I’m playing on normal so I don’t know if I’ve put a crazy amount of thought into my build besides strength. If I do a hard run and I have a get insight I will in the future. I just don’t want to make a video and mislead people if it’s something I’m not crazy familiar with you know.
Tips: retry battle to get better rng, for example you want to steal a rare item from an enemy, just steal then retry if you didn't get the item you want.
@@TagTheLegendthx for the link. Also what are your takes about stats allocation? Really i heard many things from others that confused me Like str and mag not matter much, as long you have great weapon So better of put all stats on agi / luck Maybe you can talk more about this on your next video Cheers
You do have to go back to Akademia if there is no save room, like in the Belega Corridor. There is just a save point before the boss room, which won't reset the enemies unless you go visit More.
You can also tell the cat to let you leave the dungeon and then it puts you right outside the entrance and you can just run back in and keep farming. @@chisaten
Argh, my reply went crazy and tagged you three times. I'm in Belega Corridor, so most of the enemy parties on the first two floors give like 2-16 exp each and are way spaced out. If I do the resetting at the cat and do the last two rooms, I can get like 60 exp in a minute, then run back to the cat and reset.
Yup. Choosing the "right" answer only awards you with extra mag. Personally, I love this change. Allows you to role play more without the fear of wasting time.
tip 15 is way true dude. just like the GS review said, you don't need to push youself to choose some "Max,ideal" chocies to get the more "ideal" realty. Just do youself. It doesn't have the date system
Love this game but I think giving different amount for different answers for the virtues is not an ideal design especially when you don't know what the game wants you to choose. If they want to do that they should give you a tangible challenge to overcome for the extra reward. It's a shame they cared that over from Persona when they improved on so many other areas.

Where is the walkthrough guide?
Tip 16, play to enjoy, don’t play to max everything - definitely the best tip especially with this masterpiece.

Im pretty sure the right answers during virtue and relationship convos only gives you extra mag. It doesn't help you level up faster

@afizsouji ok. Thanks. I'm just leaving Grand Trad, so I haven't personally read a book yet. Good to know.

Tip : 17 mimic chest have a small red outline while regular white chest have white outlines use Gallica

Tip 14 and Tip 15 are complete opposites to each other. But other tips are nice! Thank you.
Tip 3: You don't need to go to Akademia. Just use the Magla Hollow. You only need Akademia in dungeons where you only have the save point cat.

First time listening to your content. I love it, so I’m definitely subbing.
Glad you enjoy it!

You dont have to go to academia to reset mobs. You can also just leave the area and come back
Tips: retry battle to get better rng, for example you want to steal a rare item from an enemy, just steal then retry if you didn't get the item you want.
Awesome video dude. New sub. This game rules.
New to this type of game. I’m running out of MPin the Necromancer quest. Can I leave, get more MP and then go back? Thanks
Awesome video! Thanks!
So where is the walkthrough answer for virtue?
I just updated the description sorry about that.

I will take them into account when I play it and feel stuck in the game.
Biggest tip of all. New save every time you save.
Thanks for the tips but i still have one question. Is there any way to reinvest stats?
Stats cannot be reallocated but you can find certain gear that boosts stats
@@ahmedfalahy9337 Thanks
It's faster to just use the safe room and travel to another safe room, then back again.
Just so everyone is aware the devs did say tht theres enough side content tht u wont be able to complete in one playthrough
Also tip 1 makes no sense, you can previrew all the abilities and read them before buying the Archetype.
"Regain your mana back quickly." 😂 It's the honest that makes me come back every time 😂😂😂
Tip 16 🔥
Loving your vids bro ❤helps out allot
You don’t need to go alllll the way back to academia. Just enter the save room and leave to reset mobs.
You do have to go back to Akademia if there is no save room, like in the Belega Corridor. There is just a save point before the boss room, which won't reset the enemies unless you go visit More.

right answer only gives mag not coins

Ive been ivesting in luc stat and the and the amount of items in getting jesus
Thanks man i need this😊😊😊
Thanks
I farmed a mil in the first dungeon by mistake lol
Great video
Tip n° 1, dont live in a 3° world country.
Cant buy it cuz it costs 1/4 on my salary T-T. Hope to buy it next year in a sale 50% off
Wow, that suck so much. I'm so sorry. :(
You don't have to go to Akademia to reset mobs. Just entering and exiting the room works
Ohhh this should help me build right team

Please name the chapters better. Tip 1, Tip 2 doesn't do anything for the viewer.

Lmao
Use a guide!
But also don’t use a guide just enjoy it?
Which one is it man
The only helpful tip is to follow a guide, this is a persona game when it comes to time management
Bugs me so much, it's pronounced re-fan-TAZ-ee-oh, not re-fan-TAH-zee-oh
Great video though brother
