N&W 611 Blue Ridge Special

The highlight of the Norfolk and Western 611's first excursion weekend of 2016 was the Blue Ridge Special from Spencer to Asheville, NC. Notable locations on this trip will be the bridge over the Catawba River, the Southern Loops west of Old Fort, and historic Biltmore Village in Asheville the riders will disembark from the to explore. The 611 was a real sight to see working up the grades of the Appalachian Mountains.
