I just was out goofing off went to tractor supply seen the T boss. I was impressed bigger and nicer than I thought from your video. I'd say it is nicer for the money than home depots and Lowes machines. The only downside is the bed size. 😊
Great video, Joe. One thing I learned with my Massimo 550 is to let the EFI cycle first. In other words, turn the ignition one click, let the tack cycle up and down, when the tack is back down, the fuel has been injected. I noticed in a few of your videos it sounds like it takes a second or two to turn over. Let the machine cycle first, then turn over. It will save your starter in the long run.
Ok Joe, I just bought mine today with $500 off and a 48 month no interest deal and since they used it as a demo Tractor Supply mgr knock off another $200. My new property has a lot of water shed so ground always soft and have steep hill paths though my small forest. Don’t have a farm but plenty of work to do clearing invasive plants & other habitat projects. Drove up a hill with 35 degrees incline, easy.
More features for $9k than more expensive machines. Still the more I think about getting one of these, I just think, just get a used beat up pick up. Same price. I guess it’s really the size and your needs. I’ve used a Kubota for work a few years ago and enjoyed it. But damn, I can’t seem to justify this. Sure most trucks under $10k have 200k+ miles on it, but I could fit this 550 in the back of one. …but damn, these things are a hell of a lot of fun to drive. For now I’ll just watch your videos. (Just found your channel with the mini jeep video).
Thanks for watching Eric! A pickup is awesome but man they are so heavy and rut everything up. If the ground is wet your place will look like a dirt track after a while. I suggest a machine where the rear diff has a turf mode. So many great options out there man, you will know when the time is right. Keep in touch man! 👊🏼
I bought a new sxs a few months ago. I watched multiple videos and read all types of stats and comments. After watching your videos, I went with the Massimo 850 with the steel bed. I use it for hunting and working on the farm. The metal bed it noisier, but definitely stronger. I truly enjoy all of your videos. I'm only about an hour south of you. Right off I-65 and North of the AL/TN line. I've latey been watching and rewatching your food plot videos. I'm wanting to add food to our 120 acre farm, to accent the white and red oaks and browse already there. The drought this year played havoc on our deer season. If you had time, and wouldn't mind, I would like to meet and speak with you in person for ideas. You have already been where I am now. My farm is very hilly, some very steep, and quite rocky. It has been cattle pasture for 60+ years. Keep up the great work you do and the videos are fabulous. Merry Christmas and God bless you and your family..
Thanks for the kid words brother. And I would like to run an 850 for a while. I think thats a heck of a machine for the money. Perfect for what you are using it for! Appreciate you watching and keep me posted on the plots!
I have a T-boss 550 which is two years old and from the Texas assembly. It arrived with no oil. It has always shifted hard and the factory guy said umhumm. The oil dip stick is way below the seat and very hard to reach through control arms and structures. Otherwise I have been very happy with it. No camera/screen but the cluster behind the wheel looks the same. I am 6' 3" 230# and yes it has enough room. The other thing is mine came with mesh fabric doors & those solid doors look great. I got mine for $6,000 direct from Texas to Michigan including freight, so very satisfied with what I got for that amount. It is not a Yamaha, but it is not $16,000 either. I am happy.😎 BTW, your place is beautiful! NICE! I am 76YO and living on 10 acres in Michigan. Sold our 90 acres in Thornhill, Tn when I could no longer handle 1,600 ft of elevation change on my property. Loved the property, but it was time to go.
Awesome post Doug! Thanks for sharing that. And $6k for a side by side is an unbelievable!!! Glad it has served you well. Time will tell with this one but so far I am really impressed with it!!! Thanks for Watching!

Went to Lowe's today and ended up buying an Axis X550 which essentially is the same machine from Hisun. I'm picking it up tomorrow since I didn't take my flat bed trailer today. I went with Lowe's instead of Tractor Supply because they gave me a 10% veterans discount which came to about $1000 less. $1000 is great. I hope it is a good machine.

@NightThings99 fair enough. But a hose does wonders. How do you like that Kubota?
@@JoeTheFarmer It is nice and has worked well for projects. I would be afraid to wash the inside out with a hose if the kubota had a screen. I prefer not having a screen. I need an attachment to haul 8ft lumber into the woods for the kubota.
They suck when it comes to getting parts good luck I would not recommend this machine and not to mention no one wants to work on them none of the big shops
I could swap the engine with a honda or harbor freight in a day. Not sure what parts are the concern. Pretty much everything is universal
