A good chunk of fighters from Thailand kick really fast. So their gameplan revolves around using kicks like they’re jabs. Then from there, they either keep you from a distance or blitz you or go for the clinch to elbow, knee, and/or dump you.
Alot of people in the west usually have better boxing than a good chunk of Thais. So they tend to revolve their game plan around that strength. People who are punch heavy also love using low kicks to slow down their foes overtime so that they can get more opportunities to land punches

That is the result between the kicker (Tawanchai) and the puncher (Super Bon obviously ) Yeah Tawanchai won.
Superbon is more of a kicker than a puncher though.
Superbon specializes in kicks tho. A better example of Kicker vs Puncher would be Tawanchai vs Jo Nattawutt
