  • Cover of Genesis Dance on a Volcano intro
    A quick demo with Behringer Toro, a Moog Taurus clone. Toro preset is used, slight room effect added in Logic. Bass pedal is diy, picked from an old organ and powered by Doepfer MBP25 midi kit.

    All instruments by Petri Rotsten
    Recorded at Shepherd Road Studios, Nurmijärvi, Finland 2023

    Only became aware this week that these were available. I'm in the market for one, and I think, if I may, i'll steal your little table idea to put over my PK5 controls.
    Yes and Dance On a Volcano will be on my performance list.

    Awesome! Great sounds! You should totally do a video explaining your DIY pedalboard build!

    Amazing! But in my opinion, you used a too hard level of compression, it weakened the power of the Taurus' bass on the beats. Try to soft the level of the compressor. At the end of the effects flow, try to use a soft limiter. Great video! Congrats!!!!

    Just ordered the Doepher . Where did you find or how did you make the housing for it?

    • @petrirotsten
      @petrirotsten  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is diy, the pedals are from an old organ, the housing is made of film faced plywood and aluminium profile.

    2 questions, 1: Where did you get that double neck? 2: How hard was it to make the bass pedals?

    • @petrirotsten
      @petrirotsten  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your interest! Doubleneck is also diy, it consists of a P-bass kit and Strat parts. Hardest part in making of bass pedal was finding the right wiring connections between old 70s organ pedals and Doepfer midi kit. It was a bit of trial and error, but with a breadboard it didn't take too many hours. Chassis is made of film plywood, and the aluminium profile is borrowed from an old greenhouse :-)
