You will find that option in the preference settings! It slipped my mind where exactly at the moment, but it is there!

Hi John, I have a question re render in place, I have Halion 7 that comes with Cubase 12, I have Halion open I choose I/p 1Main piano 2 bass 3 guitar I set the outputs Main 2 &3in Halion Mix Page, I assign 2 midi tracks to input 2&3 in the inspector I see the outputs are going to the correct place, I record Piano on the main Halion in the inspector, the Bass on the midi track2, the guitar on Midi track 3 all as expected the three track are recorded and going out of the correct tracks seen in the mixer and on the project page, I now render in place midi track 2 and get the Audio of Midi Track 2 great, but also get the two other audio tracks empty because I didn't select them, Why am I getting the other two tracks, regardless of what ever option I choose in the render settings?
imagine if I had 10 tracks with midi in the Halion, I'd get all 10 tracks even If I only selected 1, is this how it works, should I render when all the midi is recorded and I'm happy with it then render lot
