That's the thing many new PC gamers don't realize in this insane GPU market.
The ti variants in the 700 and 900 series are still decent - excellent cards and they haven't been hit by the inflation more modern cards have.
Other than a 980ti, you can still get just about any for "only" about a 25% markup whereas anything above a 1050 has seen the prices go up by 2, 3, 4x. A friggin 1650 sells all day on see secondary sites for $400. That was a $150 card before the pandemic. I'd even seen it as low as $125.
My brother grabbed a 1660 Super for $190 on Amazon in February of 2020 and those sell all day long at $500 now. I see about two a day sell for $600 on sites like Mercari.
Little do many know that you can still grab a 980 or 7xx ti for $100 even in this crazy market (if you look) and it'll run the game you want to play just fine 95% of the time. Not everyone is gouging like crazy on the older stuff (many are) so a new builder can get a solid experience with a 5-7yo card until prices come back down.
Yet, most of these tech channels have people thinking that anything below an RTX 20 series is worthless.

    G'day Steve,
so we are on the verge of new games not being DX11 compatible anymore making GTX700 out dated 😞, Without the current situation problems affecting all GPUs I wonder if this will raise average GTX900 prices when things get back to normal,
When you do your reviews I like to go & have a look at the TechPowerUp GPU Comparison Chart to see how your results compare,
You were spot on with saying that the GTX670 & GTX760Ti OEM are basically the same card, even closer than a RX480 to RX580 as even the GPU 915MHz is the same on the nVIDIAs,
but for some reason in the list for Stock Performance of all these GPUs they have a GTX660Ti & 760Ti OEM (100%), GTX760 (106%) & GTX670 (115%) so that is a bit weird 🤨,
Plus in the Theoretical Performance list the 760Ti OEM does have better numbers than the regular 760, but my EVGA GTX760SC ACX 4GB with it's Factory OC does have better Theoretical Performance than the GTX760Ti OEM

That's cause 750 and 750ti all variants are based on 1st gen Maxwell architecture, while the other 700 series cards are based on older Kepler architecture.
The 900 series are 2nd gen Maxwell Architecture.
You know the release order 780,770,titan,760 and then 750.
