Yamamura Gold Leaf GIlding Studio, the company behind the brand "GOLDREAM KYOTO", was founded in Kyoto in 1949. Since then, the company has been engaged in the business of "kinpaku-oshi" (gold leaf stamping) to apply gold leaf to "Kyo-butsudan" (Buddhist altars) and "Kyo-butsugu" (Buddhist ritual articles). It is also involved in the restoration of famous shrines, temples and cultural assets throughout the country, including many famous locations. We have inherited the "kinpaku oshi" gold leaf stamping technique handed down from the Kamakura period and have continued to refine it to this day. The beauty of gold leaf majestically adorns ancient Japanese furnishings and cultural assets. We have launched a new brand "GOLDREAM KYOTO" to introduce its charm to the people of today.
