Ah so it's not heat based, it's the same technology as those Bondic pens that use UV light to harden. Also the same stuff dentist's use for fillings now!
I thought it was interesting how when he did the sloth, you look at just the body and think "huh?" but then he adds the face and you're like "Ohhh it totally looks like a sloth." It's funny how the face defines something so much in art. :)
the reason for the uv light turning of when tilted to much is for the safety of kids using It, they would try to look at the nob and that might hurt their eyes
+Jude Designs The blue light from our screens is damaging our eyesight and causing sleep disorders but there's not "extra" damage being done by him directing the UV light at the camera, we're not being exposed to any UV light through the video
You deserve more subscribers! You buy all these 3D pens all for videos(and a little fun) and most are super expensive! The scribbler $199 dollars! But you got it for us! I really love your channel and all your creations in it! Hope you had a amazing day!!
I was interested in this pen from the first time I saw this on indiegogo (IIRC), good to see this actually finished in a good working product and seems to actually do what most other pens only claim to do. But since I have a 3D printer now I lost interest in a 3D pen, maybe in the future who knows XD. P.S. VERY nice happy little tree
boomerangfreak I would like a 3D pen more than a 3D printer, tbh. Mainly because you actually make it and feel more accomplished. But a 3D printer is still pretty nice to have
Interesting pen from an artistic point of view. I think your iPod and cable would have been better fixed with Sugru; it's more flexible than that ink that looks like it turns into a hard plastic.
You could design and 3D print a storage solution for those tips. Perhaps something with several studs the size of the ink tip just to have them slip onto?
Creopop was smart because for companies like theirs the real money is made with the ink like actual printers and since you can not get any other ink like theirs you are forced to pay more for their product.
i just stumbled on your channel this morning but i've watched a LOT of your videos haha i must say it's very satisfying how your music suits your video's aesthetics so nicely. awesome.
The UV light from this 3D pen and a welding tool are not even close to comparable. You have to understand that welding uses 100-250 ampere of current while this tool runs on mere milliamps.
Hi!! New subscriber here! So you asked about the origin of the pen's name... Being Greek myself, I think it comes from greek, cause creo or κρύο means cold... as for the pop, I think it's just to make the name seem cooler :p
There is a 3D printer that uses the light of your phone to cure liquid resin. I love these videos. They are really well-crafted and professional. Thanks for these videos!
I was thinking of starting a small TH-cam channel about gaming, but the way you show these pens and review them, just urges me to become a 3D pen tester, we'll see what I do! You earned a sub. ;)
That pen is super interesting. It would be a nice supplement to FDM 3D printers. I often want small transparent areas of a print, or light diffusers that are just a pain. It also has a lot of opportunity for repairs since it doesn't have the high temperatures and is probably a little more resilient than PLA. I'm really curious to see what you can do with it.
i think this is my favorite of all the pens youve reviewed! it doesnt look as messy or stringy which i feel like would bother me with the plastic fillament ones. i like the idea that you can switch out the inks super easy. i wonder if they have opaque resins? ill look into it. i like how sturdy the structures are! super cool
Make Anything // 3D Printing Channel I know because these are sponsored you can only do them when you get an offer but I love these and I like all the videos like this
Nice 3D pen, but don't like the gel type look like transparent and its not heat base like the filaments/strands so you can't use soldering irons or lighters to smooth out edges on projects/designs so ill have to pass. Plus a 3D pen isn't really 3D if you can't print upside down. Ik its ink gel but a 3D pen should be able to write in any orientation.
UV rays are very damaging for the eyes, so they added a saftey feature so that when you point the pen up the light turns off and cant get in your eyes. Thats why you couldnt draw upward I guess,
very cool. I have the LIX pen in my house myself, but I haven't used it much recently. is it possible to get any colors other than these three though? Only real complaint with this video (and some of your other ones) is the fact that the camera occasionally goes in and out of focus, which I know is something hard to get rid of, but I just thought I'd point it out.
I dislike the uv 3d pens. sure, they might be cheaper but you need to buy the original ink. the thing I like about most 3d pens is that they are compatible with most of the filament that is normally used for 3d printers and you can get a lot of it for cheap. also you can get it in bigger quantities so you wont need to buy it that often.
could I ask of all the pens you have experimented with witch would you recommend for say model making, also could one make the plastic into a small mold.thanks
it would be cool if you made a 3D printed UV light lamp so that you wouldn't have to worry about the ink not getting enough exposure to the UV light :) cool vid!
Hey, have you checked out the AtmosFlare? Ink and light pen that uses AA battery instead of power cord, and you squeeze the sides to draw. Supposed to be like $30.
I think that the name is like you said the creo does stand for create but pop doesn't stand for fun like you said it stands for an actual pop because it's 3D so technically the name means create in 3D
I'm looking into getting a 3D pen and I'm wondering at of all of the pens you've used which one you would suggest to a first timer but that's still good quality?
I would really like to get a 3D pen for christmas but there are so many of them to choose from! Is there one specific one that works well and is at a reasonable price that you would recommend? :)
Are the resin inks irritating to the skin like other resins for 3D printing? Should you wear gloves to avoid building a sensitivity to the material and causing you to give up using resin printing, curing, etc? I love this 3D printing pen more than the others I have seen on this playlist. With this it offers the opportunity to make backlit art far more easily. I suppose the next thing for you to do is run longevity tests on colorfastness for each of the inks and filaments. I would love to see you tackle the illusion of 2D, 3D, 4D stained glass art.
Make Anything // 3D Printing Channel hi i am 10 years old and I will have my exam so if I get good position maybe 1st or 2nd my uncle will buy me something so I can tell him what I need so you have made a video that which pen is the best but you still didn't tell which pen is the best so can you tell which one is the best is the 3doodler the best I like that one but still want the best one please reply
It turn off upside down because of the UV light, so it doesn't in your eye. That can be very dangerous... But maybe it could also have something to do with the ink...
They've kinda all been good in their own ways.. so probably the cheapest you can find! Except people have mentioned getting broken pens, so good customer service is important... not sure how much that helps haha
Ah so it's not heat based, it's the same technology as those Bondic pens that use UV light to harden.
Also the same stuff dentist's use for fillings now!
Larry Bundy Jr UV hurts our DNA.OK
I have read this comment so many times, yet every time it surprises me. XD
Larry Bundy Jr yeah I’ve heard of those!

Valid point tho I also think it's largely that the ink might be much more difficult to consistently flow out of the pen trying to defy gravity.
Thomas.. really... the nature of the electromagnetic wave we see on the screen is non ionizing, visible light, not UV. C'mon man, basic physics.
+Jude Designs The blue light from our screens is damaging our eyesight and causing sleep disorders but there's not "extra" damage being done by him directing the UV light at the camera, we're not being exposed to any UV light through the video
Man I just really enjoy your channel. Like the creativity overall. Already saying the "Cool." in the intro myself :D
Keep it up !

true.. I just wanted to see if I could do it
Very interesting! Didn't know there was even a resin 3D Printing Pen! Opens up that much more possibilities.
Is there an expiration date on the resin cartridge and is there a shelf life after the cartridge is open Really like your video !
Not that I read about.. you just have to keep it stored in a dark environment and at room temperature
Thank !
You could design and 3D print a storage solution for those tips. Perhaps something with several studs the size of the ink tip just to have them slip onto?
totally! good thinking
Andrew G same
Creopop was smart because for companies like theirs the real money is made with the ink like actual printers and since you can not get any other ink like theirs you are forced to pay more for their product.
I think the coiling you did on the small tree makes it look more like tree bark😃
i just stumbled on your channel this morning but i've watched a LOT of your videos haha
i must say it's very satisfying how your music suits your video's aesthetics so nicely. awesome.
The sunlight UV outdoors might cure the ink as well I guess?

I think you're right! Thanks for sharing
Creo is also latin for 'create'
hmmm, the mystery continues...
you are like the dad from my big fat greek wedding
RyanJosephs I love how people think that every greek is a character from that movie
Your choice of applications and maximizing 3D printing's potential is great and extremely useful. :D
What happens if the UV light is not shown to the ink? How fast does each ink cartridge empty?
@6:40 - 6:50 . . so the regular 3d pens cannot draw sideways in the air like that? please enlighten me
All the videos I have seen makes me wanna sub! You've got a new subscriber!
he's so creative. i wish i could make and draw nice things, but I'm not artistic at all. oh well. it's fun to watch other people create cool stuff
There is a 3D printer that uses the light of your phone to cure liquid resin. I love these videos. They are really well-crafted and professional. Thanks for these videos!
if given the option i would use this pen and get like 300 ink packets and cover my window for a stain class window type thing
I was thinking of starting a small TH-cam channel about gaming, but the way you show these pens and review them, just urges me to become a 3D pen tester, we'll see what I do! You earned a sub. ;)
What is the music you use it's so peaceful I love it
thanks, I made it!

Omg ikr the little details. When I add noses this is what I'm like: OH MY GOD IT LOOKS SO DIFFERENT!!!

you are so artistic and very good at it!!! I love what you do its anazing!!!
Creo can either mean creationist or to make, create, or make grow. I don't know hot the 'pop' fits in.
So is it a good pen to buy? Asking for quarantine
I came to your channel because you had 3D pens and then loved your whole channel
please do an overall review of all the 3D printing pens beofre christmas!
Du have reviewed so many 3D printing pen videos which one is the best in your opinion
Well if you watch the videos, some do pretty different things (like this Creopop).. I'm really liking the 3Doodler pens for most things though
could I ask of all the pens you have experimented with witch would you recommend for say model making, also could one make the plastic into a small mold.thanks
Could you maybe make a video where you use this pen in a room filled with the uv light, to make the resin cure increadibly fast?
it would be cool if you made a 3D printed UV light lamp so that you wouldn't have to worry about the ink not getting enough exposure to the UV light :) cool vid!
just wanted to ask u fronm where do i bring these pens becoz even i wanted it 😅
This is my second video that I've seen on his Chanel and I already want to subscribe

I would really like to get a 3D pen for christmas but there are so many of them to choose from! Is there one specific one that works well and is at a reasonable price that you would recommend? :)
I was looking at the website to buy the Scribbler but im still unsure
The leaves on the tree look like crystals! Maybe you could make some cool crystal formations or something
True, that would be cool! Especially with LED lights inside of them
Ooooh! Looking forward to an LED and 3D pen video ;)
Hi I just subscribed i love all of your videos :)
K Jones thanks :)
K Jones some
Wow you replied omg :):):)
I love the pots
how many inks did you finish throughout the video
the sloth you made is super cute.
I just watched your video where you reviewed the 3doodler start and when I saw the title I thought "your balloon"
I like the stick filament

THE LION ARMY I'm 9
Could you draw on skin with this?
Creo is a software that I use on my computer to make the designs for my 3D printer
I skipped to where he finished the tree and was like ooh that's cute and he said that like how
you can turn off the safety mode so you can Point up
It turn off upside down because of the UV light, so it doesn't in your eye. That can be very dangerous...
But maybe it could also have something to do with the ink...
I like this 3D pen more than others.
Does he do meet and greets????
what is your favourite 3d pen because I am going to get one for my sister
Dexter709 709 the official rainbow girl does really good 3D pen reviews, check out her channel.
Ok thanks Isabel
You are the best TH-camr ever I just subscribe because you are the best tank you for the amazing videos
what is the cheapest 3d pen that you think is good?
They've kinda all been good in their own ways.. so probably the cheapest you can find! Except people have mentioned getting broken pens, so good customer service is important... not sure how much that helps haha
How much does this cost?
it would be interesting to see what happens to the sloth when the tree grows
