Some people are complaining that there is to much work in his van, but look at him, he's fit, strong and definitely not lazy. Thanks for sharing another great van😃
Thank you. As Patrick said in this video. Everything in van life takes extra effort. It's not really work if you love what you're doing. A house takes ten times more upkeep than an apartment, yet people still own them and don't mind the extra work. In the end, I think it's a matter of perspective. Rick.
People need to mind their business and let this retiree live his life.

People need to realize that traveling in a Class B van has limited space, ... but how one deals with that space, makes it a home ... one has to tailor it to that one's personal needs, wants ... and like you had said in the video, you live "out of the van" more than your time inside it 👌👍😁 ... The shower looks like alot of work! But I agree with him a backdrop of beautiful area’s would be well worth it. He’s done a amazing job! I love builds like this. More creative process, from very humble ppl. Great job, & thank you for sharing!!! ❤❤

That awning is way too much work for me as a solo camper, but it's a much better set up than I have. I use a tarp & poles and attach to a length of pvc that I mounted to my roof rails on my minivan. I love the large lounge space, and the custom bug screens! Clearly lots of thought and planning went into this build. Love the originality and the attention to detail!

One thing about that shower that he didn't mention...another YTer regularly uses his Joolca shower by taking that water input line and laying it in a river or lake with a rock on it to hold it under, so you don't even have to haul all that water with you! Slick!

Rick really blended the boat life and camper life. I think the shower and awning are a little too much of a pain to use often, but Rcik has it down for what works for him. he's in amazing shape. Really cool van for a bunch of different reasons - can be stealthy, can get into tight spots, etc. I would like something bigger but that's just me. Rock on, Rick.
Cardboard template process is super smart! Nice build and you don’t miss the extra height really. Saves money vs buying a Pro-master or Sprinter for sure.👍🏻
This is so well done. The interior layout and design is so nice. The 2 outside storage boxes are such a good idea. I really like the awning. Thank you for this very interesting tour!

WOW, way to much for me to do day in and day out. Climbing up and down for showers and awnings are a little much for me personally, but I love that awning. As a female, I want my bathroom inside. This is a wonderful build and suites you so perfect. Thank you for sharing.

I have an Express extended and I love it. The other brands are tempting, but so much more expensive. If you buy a $60k van, your depreciation is significant too.
My biggest regret on my build is not spending the extra $3000 for the extended.

I would definitely extend the wiring for the tote rack and reroute it along the hinge so you don’t have to unplug it each time

I like the aluminum water tanks and shower. It takes a few minutes to set up but worth while.
Is this van an extended one? Got me thinking about getting a Chevy or GMC van.

When I can I use PLANET FITNESS for showers.
My van is not extended. My biggest regret. I should have spent $3000 more and purchased the extended. Then, the direction of the bed could have changed to accommodate two people better. Thanks for your interest. Rick

Nice build - thanks for video this . The two issues - it takes so much time to set up that shower and that blue sink is beautiful but sticks out in the aisle.
I had many comprises in this build. The sink had to petrud so I could get my face over it to wash. It doesn't really affect sitting or getting out of bed. The shower may seem like a lot, but when I'm just enjoying nature day after day, it's easy,just part of the routine. Thanks for your compliment.

Is the company that makes the security cameras called Bolio?
I'm in the market for a security camera setup because I've had a couple of breaking attempts the 2nd of which I lost the passenger side window and two locks which was very expensiveto fix and I also had my phone stolen.
So I'm looking for a cameras to monitored the exterior and possibly double as a dash cam in case of any traffic issues.

That shower seems like a lot of work to setup
Why doesn't he just use a step to put out his awning? That looks dangerous, especially if he has to put it down in bad weather. The water containers and piping next to the batteries doesn't feel safe to me. BUT, great setup! Love it.
For me it’s a pity to have a van that you can not stand in plus setting up the shower takes a lot of work. Good luck and stay safe

For the viewers it's FAUX leather, not fox leather. They need to stop using those terms together. It's not leather. It's vinyl. And it's pronounced "FO" not "fox" Nice van, wrong pronunciation
