This is a beautiful van! The only thing I would have done differently is put the toilet in the same cabinet it is in but on a pull-out from inside the shower. That way, you could pull it out into the shower area when you need it and push it back into its cabinet when you don't. I saw this in one of the 100's of van videos I've watched and it was the smartest toilet set up I've seen so far. Great job and happy travels!
They did have discussions of that concept however they decided this works better for their use
Sofia of Tiny Planet Group came up with the sliding toilet, and that's how I'm going to do my van. I love the wood look in the shower and the countertop. Nice build.
That's exactly what I thought.
I also thought of that. I understand people do what works for them. Also, I would prefer to use the toilet in the shower. I know they are married (so am I) and you lose a lot of privacy when you get married. But otherwise, this is an amazing build. One of the best I have seen.

Perfect plan I would build for my self with one change to toilet on slides going in to the bathroom when using and to its current position when its bath time. Great job!
We thought about it and settled on the design we have. Less moving parts that can break. Also moisture in a van can be changing to manage. The bathroom with the door closed is on the smaller side and a little less comfortable for us. The toilet really is for emergencies as we aren’t living in it full time. Trust that no matter where the toilet is, you’ll love that you have one 💩

Our big wish is for a queen north/south bed. This bed is great. Can be kept made, but doesn't take up the whole living area during the day.
I like the bed too, dear!
After doing a great amount of research, north to south works well. Not having to climb over each other is invaluable.
Cool innovations! Love the Acacia wood counter tops and the struggle bed.

The bed is our favorite part of the build. Allows for so much extra space when not using.
Toilet part was funny 😂😂😂 but I really love this van thing van is on my no 1 wish list ❤❤❤

They have conversions like this in the transit extended starting at $99,500.00 USD, not including the price of the van. I would estimate a build like this would cost. $200,000 to replicate

NJOA,,,,,,,HELLO PATRICK, DOM AND NOELLE,added their small additions ,to their builders ideas,this has resulted,in a really great layout,ther BED FEATURE,is fantastic, thanks for showing it,! I know of a couple whom has a SPRINTER ,with suspension,brakes,etc,it’s a PLEASUREWAY ACCENT,husband,is tall,they finally got their TRANSIT, being outfitted now,in NJ,this will be long a& high top,he WILL be able to stand up now,they live in COMMIEFLORNIA,, NO MORE $1300,oil changes . Stay well,enjoy your trips,,,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

lovely build except for the toilet "solution"... 😣 it could have been also a slide-out toilet from within the shower. The space underneath the bench literally asks for that! 🤭

Nice, but the drapes look less effective than blackout covers. More dress and decorative, than actually useful for anyone who would prefer as much darkness as possible.
A combination of both can be used if felt necessary
We have black outs for when we need them. It’s nice to have both options for sure.

Toilet set up a deal breaker. I like privacy, otherwise beautiful van build.
There are other options in builds they do, this is what the owners decided works for them
It works surprising better and less cramped when in the shower. If we need even more privacy we ask and the other gets coffee 😊

Having watched a lot of these videos some things stand out, like the repetitiveness of how people describe stuff and the compulsion to show what's inside every single drawer and cabinet. It's not a big deal I just find it amusing. As far as your question goes, it doesn't take a lot of imagination to vary one's speech when describing things ;-)
