Ritual Monsters are main deck too...unfortunately...I think this was always the problem of them to begin with. But because they were revealed I rummaged through my old card tins and actually found an original "Manju" and "End of the World"...so...I kinda like them. Overall I think with them out we can't get "Djinn Releaser of Rituals" ever off the ban list...but I would love to simply for the Kaiju protection.
If Cyber Dragons can play again im doin it. They were my babys... Then MR4 came around AND RUINED IT! ... I enjoyed how the deck played and how it was able to play... The deck doesnt have what it needs to play in MR4 links or rather the restriction on the Extra Deck killed it

How about ritual ravens? There was stuff before Gishki that counted as the entire tribute for a ritual monster. Not sure if anybody ever played it though as most older cards are kind of shit by today's standards.
No. It is because of the old Demise OTK used Adv Ritual Art with Insect Knights/other lvl4vanilla insects to then summon Demise, Blow the field, then summon Dozer. Though metamorphosis is still banned so the otk still doesn't exist as can't metamorphosis into Cyber twin. Though maybe there's a new way to otk with it, i dunno.
Demise OTK was my main shit back in the day. Then again i also played Norleras OTK too while it was awesome. I used to love those kinda funky OTK decks that didn't just revolve around drawing your whole deck or burn.
For those who don't know what the "Deviritual" monsters he mentioned are: There's 2 0/0 monsters (Candoll's a Lv 4 LIGHT Pyro, Talismandala's a Lv 6 DARK Plant) who can be Special Summoned by revealing a Ritual (Spell for Candoll, Monster for Talismandal), Special Summon the other Deviritual from your Deck when summoned this way, and add a Ritual card of the same type you reveal to summon them from your Deck if Special Summoned from the Deck. The only drawback to them is that while you control either of them, your Extra Deck is off limits...but since you're about to sac them for a Ritual Summon _anyway,_ who cares? So basically: -Summon Manju to add End(less) of the World or Big Demise/Ruin to hand, or add End(less) of the World and regular Demise (...or Ruin? Yeah, right) with Pre-Prep if you have Candoll, if need be. -Reveal End(less) of the World to Special Summon Candoll OR reveal Big Demise/Ruin to Special Summon Talismandra. -Special Summon the other Deviritual from your Deck. -Add Big Demise/Ruin or End(less) of the World to your hand. -Hey look, you've got 2 monsters with a total Level of 10 on the field to sac for your Ritual Summon! Quite a few 2-card combos you can work with right there. True, 5800 damage from ruin if you used demises effect to clear the field. Plus your attack from demise to wipe out the rest of their life points for their OTK
Average opinion The real question is how do you get both of them out at the same time in a timely manner? Having both on the field is essentially game but you need to use the ritual spell twice in some form and have the monsters to summon them AND have them in hand. That's a MINIMUM of six cards. Seems like Demise would be the better card to use but if they got cards to stop him from showing up then he's screwed. I would say having ruin on the field first would be better so that demise can come in without issue, and she's beefy enough that running over her is gonna be hard as hell. If she's the only one on the field then they need someone who's at least 2900 to knock her out, and if you used a ritual monster to get her out then she can't be blown up by card effects. Ruin has the better defensive effect and to be honest her secondary effect ain't shabby either (she already can't be destroyed by card effects so outside of walking into something that bounces or banishes her, all they can do is negate the attack in some form, and she's gonna swing twice plus do burn which puts them on a timer). Both are good, the problem is really just getting them out at the same time.
well, if Ruin is summoned by tributing ritual monsters, she can attack twice, so if you summon her with young Demise, then she can attack twice, your ritual monsters can't be destroyed by effects and their effects can't be negated, so, at that point, all you have to do is summon big man Demise and you win the game, it can even be moderate size man Demise really, since Ruin will already attack for 5800 dmg
hunter of strength yes, but, as i said, if you summon demise after ruin, its pretty much a win, of course there will be ways to stop it before that, otherwise it would be ridiculous

So far that's the biggest draw back for this archetype. It is seriously annoying. I tried to synergize them with Cyber Angels but they need exact requirements if used from the hand with the original ritual spell. Too picky. Too weak against targeting effects in my opinion.

Big ruin aint that bad as she actually gets the full 2 attacks during the battle phase and not that only on monsters bullshit that so many cards suffer. Add to that that she effectively gets 2 direct hits as she burns for the atk of the destroyed monsters you'd be 2200 short of an otk. The deck as a whole just doesnt seem too great for todays standards. Also can we finally get rid of the "except the turn this card was sent to the graveyard" clause on ritual spells for clearly weaker decks, its like konami is scared of them being the next nekroz or something when they can hardly function

I like the trap. The trap seems pretty good. Y'know, as far as ritual summoning and traps go. It's a better way to summon Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon and Blue-Eyes Chaos Max than their respective ritual cards. And if you use it to summon something like, say, Gravity Dragon or one of the Shinobirds, you get their effects during your opponent's turn. Which is to say, they enter the end phase, and you bounce their entire back row. It sends itself to the graveyard as cost, which if I recall correctly, means it can't be ghost reaper'd. It banishes the monster which means it can't be ghost ash'd. You can activate its first effect during the end phase, whereafter they've most likely set all their quickplays which thus can no longer be used that turn. It seems pretty good to me. At least, for what it is.
1. The new rituals would be better if they could be pre-prepped. 2. they'd be better if they retained the original card name in the GY as well. 3. I'm not using that damn trap card.

I think the idea of having the little ones be level 4 is that you tribute them for the originals so they have some aditional effects in order to make up for the fact hey are relatively old. Otherwise having them be level 5 would make more sense.
I mean, if you want ritual protection you can just use Ritual Cage. I'm sure it's got its own problems but on the upside you don't have to play Ruin, Queen of Missed Opportunities.

Something I don't think you said (unless I missed it) is the fact that endless of the world sais it can be used to summon demise king of Armageddon or ruin queen of oblivion (the og names) but it can't even summon those 2 of monsters only the other ritual that are treated as such i n hand or field

Secondly the little ones could have the effect to be treated as the entire tribute instead of having an unsearchable spell do that AND/OR they could have an effect that searches the originals and/or the ritual spells upon being sent from the field to the grave, giving you an incentive to actually summon them. Ruin is a one of maybe 2 of little ruin is 3 along with mini demise etc and nobody is going to run the trap when you can ritual summon on your turn or if you want to ritual summon on your turn there's a trap for that already

Demise + Cyber Angels new meta? It didn't say it had to be these Ritual monsters for the effects, right?
I think you have gotten wrong tje field spell first effect. Isn't it the card in the hand the one changing level?
Demise in infernitys to put the cards from the hand into the graveyard
Ruin is a good otk though. o.o Add a little honest as well and it is sooo nice. Double attack, killed monster dmg to life, and honest. Awesome.
They need to start giving my fairy type monsters and cards more synergy among the non archetype cards, but this is alright.

Their artworks are as good as you would expect from Demise/Ruin retrains but their effects leave something to be desired.
Firstly why are they not treated as the originals in the grave as well? A Ritual Spell that can revive them from the grave would be welcome but now that's not possible as future support.
Secondly the little ones could have the effect to be treated as the entire tribute instead of having an unsearchable spell do that AND/OR they could have an effect that searches the originals and/or the ritual spells upon being sent from the field to the grave, giving you an incentive to actually summon them.
ONE MORE THING, why does big Ruin have 2900 ATK/3000 DEF while having an effect to attack twice?

I'd like to point out that the CONTINUOUS trap card is in a deck completely based around NUKING YOUR OWN BOARD
