My family and I where literally driving to cut down our Christmas tree this weekend and my 2 sons where fighting over being able to charge their pads. Problem solved!!!! Thanks for the great idea and the tutorial!
@@JetwhiteXd I just plug a multi port charger into the 110v, but I'm still going to add a 12 volt cigarette lighter power port and a matching twin usb one.
2018 XD Platinum Reserve does not have a USB in the back - This worked great, thanks. I used a round USB 2x plug, easer to drill than cut. Centered it above the vent. On the 2018 the cup holders come off first then the back panel. Thanks again!
Question I have a 2019 Titan i would like to add the TVs behind the headrest for my kids, I was wondering if you had any tips on where to tap in for the power
I have an 18 with the rear heated seats but there is any USB’s. Why Nissan? There should be at least 2 of them for the back seat. Great video! I am going to see if I can mount 1 or maybe 2 above the vents in the rear area and probably go with a round one and use a step bit. Thoughts?
Sam Rauh agreed! There many usb option styles. Round, square, double, single, go with what you please. It will be a tiny yet big upgrade for comfort and convinience .
There is an OEM option. www.nissanpartsdeal.com/parts/nissan-rear-usb-charger~t99q7-6lb0a.html you can search the oem pdf installation procedure as well. It isn’t standard however and requires modification.
Awesome! Just done my Titan, worked exactly as you described. Now my daughter don’t have to run a charger up to the front, thanks.
Great stuff as always, good idea, doing this now!
nice, led strips are a nice touch
Joe Leal I’ll be posting a video on those in the near future

I added one with two ports but it was round so I just used a drill bit to make the hole

Nice! This was exactly what I needed! Question... Are the blue led number super bright at night for rear passengers? Or is it OK?
Shane Etsitty very shuttle, doesn’t not promote a “glow” , super ok!
so, do you lose the 110w power supply though, or keep the power and the usbs?
I just plug in a multi port charger to the 110v but I'm still going to do this.
They make a accessory kit for this
