Adam, it looks like your substrate is Caribsea African Cichlid Mix, Sahara Sand. Did you mix any white sand into that or is it just sahara? I'm thinking about buying some but i'm not sure if the sahara is too dark. I think your substrate is the color i'm going for so just wanted to see if you mixed. Thanks!
+Deon 0026 hey buddy, I tried to comment on the last video u asked but it kept putting your comment in spam. no its a tyrannochromis nigriventer south, but they are basically a twin to a fusco, they look very very similar except for a certain bump on their nose and the pattern is a bit different. but your fusco will have that same type of color and size

I see a lot of females. Thanks you are not an idiot who keeps only males. Without females you wouldn't see such a full coloration like in your tank. Good job!
Many people do mix in peacocks. Just don't add peacicks that are known to be shy or laid back like albinos, ethels etc. If you want to try to mix them id consider lwanda, dragonblood, eureka reds, etc that are known to be pushy at times. And don't add young peacocks
seriously the sickest fish... it is my dream fish and would complete my predator tank... unfortunately in Australia most of the buccochromis species are difficult to come by, but especially the nototaenia - might even be out of the hobby in the country
you should make the tank more interesting for the fish ...I get that all you care about is that the fish are pretty to look at and that they appeal to your eye and that’s all you need but think about the fish ... to them they are in prison you should give them more than a pile of rocks in the middle of the tank and grey walls

what size does the bucco noto and rhoadesi start to color up mine is 4 and 5 inch

They are open water swimmers, even when I do add a ton of decor they rarely if ever swim in it
