Hey Jeannie, I love ur high quality videos and thumbnails. Very in depth. I know it was a while ago but I wonder which you would recommend for a family with two older teens. Mariott grand vista or Sheraton Vistana Villages. Thanks if u get a chance to reply

      Hi Kevin,
I think I would go for Marriott Grande Vista. Vistana Villages is smaller and there is less going on. For example, the Grande Vista will have a movie or game on the big screen, 2 different restaurant bar areas, maybe a volleyball game in progress, 4 large pool areas, golf, more impressive basketball courts, a courtyard by the lobby market that they could hang out at and text friends, etc. Grande Vista is just a bit more resorty and "grande." Vistana villages is also more geared towards little kids (in my opinion) with the pirate ship and the key west area (mainly grandparents or multigenerational). Another fun option that you didn't mention is the Vistana Resort Villas. This one is relaxed and older but people here (including us) are really having fun...think drinks, tennis, hot tubs. A few years ago when my kids were younger they were hanging out in the huge hot tub there with like 15 teenagers/college kids on spring break. My kids were in awe. It is also really close to Disney Springs which is full if cool restaurants and activities that high schoolers finally appreciate. Overall, if you don't vacation often and want to kind of impress kids with nice resort..Grande Vista. If you want a nice but not super impressive resort but easy access to the springs, Vistana Resort Villas. Villages would still be great but less so. Cypress Harbor is also great for family bonding (but less grande resort) and we are staying at the lakeshore reserve which is nice for access to the neighboring JW and Ritz hotels but really not a lot going on at all. This is so long but one last thing... Grande Vista is huge. If you like a nice walk in the sun, this is a plus. If you are not active, it may be really discouraging as parking availability by the main areas is not really abundant. Wherever you go, call ahead and request your area, building, floor. Can be a game changer! Have a great trip and thanks for the question!
