Love it man !!! I Didn't know some of the history behind these coins so the video was great education material for me . Thanks again for the time and effort you put into making these videos . I know what you go through and I for one really appreciate it.
I just acquired my 1st half cent! I have the 1810 Half Cent. She's beautiful and I thought I would collect all 5 until I saw your video! LOL There is no way i would EVER be able to afford the 1793 Half Cent. Great video it was very informative :) GL & HH

i have a 1805 that i would amateurly grade at about VG-8 and would be worth about $90 according to my 2016 red book, it's insane that less than 40,000 of that entire type let alone that exact year still exist! were a lot of them melted at some point?
I had a 17-9-4 half-cent in 1975 and sold it in 1979 for $10.oo. it would have been on the lowest of low grade levels. Looking at what they're going for in this video, mine would have been worth maybe $350.oo today. I wish I had held onto it just for the sake of having one of these very rare and first coins ever minted by the United States Treasury. I remember seeing a few large one cent pieces as a child but never a half cent piece. I should have held on to it. I just looked up the price of what that $10.oo would be worth today and it stands about $41.oo. So by that I lost a lot, about $309.oo.
DEAR Numiststic. I am a bit confused with the half cent. I certainly do not want to take away the KNOWLEDGE you are teaching us on this video...howeber..i am looking at this SUNGAREI 1 TEAL DRAGON. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TWO TAILS MEAN? LET ME BE REALISTIC! ARE THESE PLAY OR REAL COINS? IF IT IS PLAY I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY KID.. ( MY SON) AND MESS WITH HIM I JUST NEVER KNOW . YOU ARE BRILLIANT. I....NOT SO MUCH. WELL I DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ THEIR LANGUAGE. THANK YOU DEAR NUMISTSTIC FOR SHARING THIS KNOWLEDGE WITH US ENTHUSIASTS. MUCH APPRECIATED MY FRIEND. LOVING THAT ACCENT.! SMILE AND HAVE A WONDERFUL EVENING.
🌄✌ Happy Holiday Numisman 🍻 I'm curious were the majority of these early coins the same weight ? Have a safe New Year my friend 🎶🎸🌟💰your #1 u.s fan Dave 🎵🌈⛥🏛💸🏞😎✨✨✨

I spent most of my childhood not knowing half cent coins ever existed because pennies were already worthless, so why on Earth would anyone need a coin worth so little? lol
I have one in the uk. 1885 its different than all these. On one side it has the fraction 1/2 cent amd the other side a lion with a crown i think holding a sword.. Its in crazy good condition. Better tham somr modern coins to be honest. It feels like im holding somtjing really rare. Does anyone know anything?
Sounds like it might be a half cent from the Netherlands. KM109. 1/2 CENT inside a wreath on the reverse and a rampant Lion, crowned clutching a sword and a bundle of arrows on the reverse. Date in exergue, flanked by privy mark. Surrounded by the legend that reads : "KONINGRIJK DER NEDERLANDEN". Does that sound right? Hope this helps.
Got all the designs except for the 1793 don't want a poor example. Just picked up an overstrike 97 ! Wow! Very nice 👍 Struck on a Talbot and Lee token!

Interesting topic, but that seemingly computerized voice doing the narrative is awful.
