This was a great round table and all but like Amy Adams said when she was here, why ask these questions about sexism and ageism within the industry to the actresses? Why not ask the producers, directors, and TV creators these questions? Their answers would be way more informative

Only asking questions to the already receptive audience would be a pretty phony thing to do, and Hollywood isnt known for that at all. One of the the best examples of this IMO is an Iraqi vet back home, driving along the highway and not being able to drive without stopping at every underpass thinking there’s a bomb or stopping at every bit of litter on the side of the road thinking it’s an IED. He knows there’s no bomb but for the life of him, he cannot drive without stopping. PTSD. The body remembers what the mind tries to forget.

It’s called PTSD. The body remembers and the mind, even though it knows it’s not real, cannot understand. One of the the best examples of this IMO is an Iraqi vet back home, driving along the highway and not being able to drive without stopping at every underpass thinking there’s a bomb or stopping at every bit of litter on the side of the road thinking it’s an IED. He knows there’s no bomb but for the life of him, he cannot drive without stopping. PTSD. The body remembers what the mind tries to forget.
