Rides/handles very similar to stock, that said it's also depending on the wheels/tires you upgrade to. Our kit accounts for correcting all suspension-steering-driveline geometry so no need to reflash the ECU on the truck or make other electronic adjustments. You will need to get the vehicle realigned once the lift is installed.
I have an 2019 f150 4x4. I bought it with a BDS lift. I would like to know what size it is. It’s has a 5” strut block on the front. And a 4” rear block in the back with FOX 2.0 rear shocks. Would very much appreciate the help.
I just bought a 2021 that claims a 6” BDS lift but my front and rear spacers measure 5 “. I asked this question all over and can’t get a straight answer on my lift size. I assume it’s a 5” not a 6”.
@@fattysgarage1754 dude same here. I’ve been trying to figure out the same thing since I got my truck in 2020. I’ve contacted BDS LIFTS. as well as CUSTOM OFFSETS. and I get different answers everywhere. From what I understand is. I think we both have (6” lifts) from marketing perspective. But the front block only measures 5-5.1/4”. Apparently the BDS 6” lift is optional with a 4-5” block. I hope this helps. But it still bugs the hell out of me whenever buddies I know have a 6” rough country lift and their truck is slightly taller. Exactly how tall I wished mine was. But it is what it is I guess. 😔 I have to say I bought mine with 11k miles for 35k with the whole package. I’m pretty sure they had no clue what they had. I found it at a Hyundai dealership. Custom wheels, nitto 35’s, and bds lift...I’ve come to the conclusion that if someone ask. My reply is 5 in the front 4 in the back.
@@Toasty_1992 Thanks! I believe you are correct that it is a 6” lift even though 5” is what the tape says. I have a 2” height difference (higher in the rear) and want to lower it probably to a 4” block. I am ok with 1” difference. Hopefully the shocks can still be used.
Do you have measurements to top of fin on cab for this build? Trying to see overall height if it’ll still go through carwash that is 84” max height. Thankssss
That's not a measurement we take and will vary slightly based on how the truck is outfitted (tire wheel combo, bumpers and other mods, cab lights, etc. You can estimate based on kit lift the front 6" over stock + 1/2 the difference in tire size (ie from 31s to 35s will raise approximately 2" of overall ride height).
I have a 2021 F150 with 6inch BDS lift and a 5inch rear block bought from Ford Dealer new. I want to lower the rear 1-2 inches to level it. Will I have any issues with driveline or can I just lower it? Since it was bought from the dealer this way, it drives perfect so I don't want to mess it up any. Can I buy a 3 1/2" block? 3 or 4? Any help appreciated.
And? That's a lot of stuff in todays world. Times have currently changed. A lot of suspension kits are currently backordered for a few months, not just BDS.

Does installing this kit change the feel of the car? And what maintenance must I do? Any adjustments to the computer of the car? Etc

@@fattysgarage1754 yeah I think the 4” block in the rear looks pretty good.

How much with the Fox 2.5 Coilovers?
What BDS is not telling you you won't get your lift for 3 to 4 months if not longer

Is this with the 4 or 5in rear block?
5" block on this truck, Its designed as a replacement block for the OE block so it'll net around 4" of lift in the rear.
She’s must not have been paying attention. She’s nearly ran off the road at 1:18.
