I’m about to get this exact setup, will be a nice addition to my channel
Where can I purchase the Skid Plate with the large BDS laser etching that's on this truck? I've looked all over the place for it.
This truck is RAD!
What’s the fuel economy like on a 6 inch and 35s with the powerboost
We did notice a few MPG loss from stock with this setup, but it's still has plenty of power on tap to turn the 35s
Which rear block does this one have? The 4” or 5”?
we set this truck up with the 5" block to level the stance due the additional storage/gear it hauls
Ok that makes sense. Guess I will need to reconsider the 4” I ordered when I start adding overland stuff to the bed. Did you all ever do anything else to that truck?
Didn’t see a single trail or section in the video that a Subaru sedan couldn’t handle.
That aside, that’s a beautiful F-150. Definitely interested in the 6” lift.
What is the size of the Method wheels and tires?
20x10 Method Series 304s on 35x12.50x20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss. For more on this build head to blog.bds-suspension.com/?cat=1424
Another question. Whats the offset on those wheels? It’s got the perfect amount of wheel poke. I think I ordered the same wheels, only option available was -18mm offset
those are the 20x10 Method 304 which has 4.76" BS (-18mm offset)

Where do I get the rear 2.5 performance elite shocks for the rear 6 in lift I've been looking everywhere.
Thank you
Can you specify which Ridetech components you used? I just ordered the BDS 6in coilover system with the 2.5s as well and would like to add the air system.
I totally appreciate your last reply as most dont take the time. I have another if you dont mind. I got the 6" BDS coilover lift installed on my 2021 a couple of weeks ago. I had to pay an additional amount for them to install a Hypertech speedometer calibration chip. Shortly after my truck started having some computer issues. My question is, did you also have to use an outside product to calibrate your speedometer? If so could any of these aftermarket products cause ABS sensor , blind spot monitoring , anti-lock brake fault, hill start monitor warning lights to go off? Thanks in advance for any help. The truck is sitting at my local ford dealership and it seems they're clueless
sorry for the delayed response, we're not as timely to respond here on YT as we are to our email that I had provided previously. Tech questions should really go through our tech support team rather than the marketing team here on YT. That said while we have installed the Hypertech programmer on many of our trucks to calibrate the speedo, we have not done so on our F150. Its difficult to diagnose over the internet, but I'd recommend a call to Hypertech's tech support and possibly our tech support team so they can assist getting to the bottom of what's going on with your truck.
How is it going for you 2 years later? Looking to install a 6” lift on my 2023 F150 Powerboost and would love any advice.
@WinTheWarWithMe 2 years later, and as of now, all the bugs have been worked out. It seems that all of the original issues had nothing to do with the lift or any other after-market product. The truck itself had electrical issues. You'll love the ride and look from the BDS coilover lift.
@@mx_ata2d642 That is awesome news. So you ordered their lift and switched out for Fox Parts right? Do you have the exact lift, parts etc that you ordered so that I can call and get it shipped? I love that you said it rides like a Cadillac. The biggest thing I’m afraid of is losing that nice ride! Thanks for your quick response. It is much appreciated.
Love this truck. I’ve been waiting 7 weeks so far for my 4 inch fox coilover kit. If I decided in the future I want to go up to 6 inches, what parts would I need?
Glad you love our F150! Thank you for being patient while we continue to get caught up, we understand the excitement around ordering a new suspension system is high and we are working around the clock to build and ship products. When time comes to upgrade to a 6" coilover conversion contact our tech department at (517)279-2135 and select option 2.
Can you please, please tell me how all of your driving assist electronics are doing with the lift. Cameras and sensors etc: I have the 2021 Platinum 4X4 edition. I put down a deposit on the BDS 4" coilover lift kit so that it can be ordered but I'm still back and forth on wanting the 6". The 4" is on back order until late December but the 6" is available. 4 wheel parts can't tell me what to expect with all the sensors after the lift. I could seriously use some insight if possible.
Thanks
No issues whatsoever with the sensors/cameras/electronics on the 21 F150s after installing our lifts and oversized tire/wheel packages. Everything is still operational and functions as designed to from the factory. The base components (crossmembers, knuckles, diff drop, etc) in the 4" and 6" kits are the same, the main differences being the preload on the coilovers and the rear block kit (block height and u-bolt length) to set ride height at 4" or 6" over stock. Coilover preload could be adjusted to match the rear block height to achieve your desired stance paired with out 3"-4"-5" replacement rear block options. For more on this topic contact our sales/tech support team at (517) 279-2135.
Still asking what is the mpg and distance for my favorite SEMA truck after the mods? … The Mickey’s and Methods change the dynamics, so I’m wondering also about that off-road handling. 😎 #Ford, #Limited, #Hybrid, #BDS, #MethodRaceWheels
With the lift, tires and mods we are still looking at about 23-25mpg with the truck.
I have a ‘21 F150 platinum in Antimatter Blue. I planned on doing this wheel with a 4” lift. These wheels are on BO but they have 17’s in stock. What do you guys think about going that route?
FIRST! 😂🤙🏼
4 or 6 inch which would be better ?
Depends on how you want to use your truck and how want to live with a taller height. Both are great options that can have a lot of fun off-road.
