Pizza Tower levels are just like actual pizza joints, some have just the right amount of cheesy goodness to make me wanna come back for more, and others make me want to write an angry one-star review after failing to P-Rank pizzascare for the 50th time.

Seriously, I don’t care if you’re not going to play Pizza Tower. But please for the life of me don’t leave 10 individual replies like anyone other than me is going to see
if you don’t like the game that’s fine, if you do that’s fine, if you make 9 different replies about how you don’t like the game then you’re not voicing your opinion, you’re just annoying
Pizza tower is the kind of game that is like buying a pizza from a local pizzeria, you can order the whole pizza and only eat a few slices, but if you want the full experience you gotta sit there and eat the whole pizza. At some points you may feel sick and may even throw up, but afterwards, you feel accomplished. And then once you finish it you never want to touch pizza again.
But there’s also a good chance you’ll get addicted to pizza and buy an oven to make your own and go down a rabbit hole of entirely new or modified pizzas due to a crippling addiction
@@Skywarslord Including body modification to ensure you can physically handle it. Why ponies or fox-dogs are ideal for that is beyond me.

I have been following this game ever since 2019 and was so hyped when it finally came out. Can't believe i'd see the day Alex makes a video about it. I know Pizza Tower became so popular it was probably inevitable but i still think about the tine i played the SAGE demo and thought it'd be the type of game people would buy and then forget about it a month later
My favorite part of Alex posting is seeing what new strange way he will appear on the screen in the beginning.

John Gutter. The name comes from how you destroy a lot of Pillar Johns in this game, and the pieces have to end up somewhere.
Fun Fact: this is the first video since Alax's return where Donkey Kong doesn't fall off the minecart rails.

Just played the game for the first time recently and I loved it! The fact that every level stood out and was good(!) really makes it a top-tier 2D platform. Also, the editing in this video was hilarious, dude. Love watching it from start to end.

Glad Alax is experimenting with new games more than just Nintendo and Sonic content. We need more experimentation like this.
To be fair, Pizza Tower is very reminiscent of Nintendo games (and I guess Sonic too), specifically Wario Land 4 of which it is sort of a spiritual successor.
Kinda like... Undertale (obviously inspired by Earthbound) which is also pretty popular among Nintendo fans.

It’s called “John Gutter” because it’s where all the Pillar Johns fall when you destroy them
The John Gutter level is named after Pillar John, the pillar you knock down to start Pizza Time. That's where the reject clones of him are dumped.

14:23 - That right there, is exactly what happened to me, during Jonh Gutter, I got so carried away, by taunting in front of the exit for extra points, I remember how that moment made me speechless, over a single mistake by own carelessness.
Which is not a problem with the first level, but I can’t imagine how more painful it is with the other levels!
