In the past, it was possible to get 0 score and the level wouldn't even count as finished!
And so they fixed that by making 0 give 10
Yeah this was actually only fixed in the last two weeks, should have tried this sooner haha
To fix this, just parry once at the exit door, sure that 25 points but just pretend it didnt happen
@@DaKingKayden you can only get points from door taunting if you already have a *combo* going. Trust me, I've tried when I first got the game and realized that.

Can you finish a level with 5 though
so fun fact, the 10 points aren't pity points, but it forces you those points because, according to the patch notes, if the level was ended with 0 points, the level just....wouldn't count as being completed funilly enough
i thought about the combo because if you finish a level with a combo,the combo points go to your score

Actually, it’s MORE easier. If you use the official debug menu you can activate Pizza Time at the start of the level and leave there without collecting anything. You can’t P Rank using the debug console, and there’s no mod for that I believe. Only mod I know is the infinite combo timer mod, but that just makes it easier.

About the 11 in the saloon, it's probably because you entered the door at the exact time your score should've switched to 0, so it gave you a ghost 10 points on top of your 1 that you still had

That's what I was thinking too.
If anyone at all cares about also getting the lowest completion percentage, you can select exit level right after grabbing a key from a boss. You’ll still get the key and be able advance to the next floor but without getting a rank (which contributes to your final score)
Something worth noting is that you can make enemies attack and wake up faster (after being stunned) by taunting near them. Though be wary that you don’t accidentally parry their attack!

This turned out a lot more interesting than I thought it'd be, honestly! It's hard to believe just how many points are guaranteed on your way to complete the game, and the escape sequences turned out a lot tougher than I expected them to be. What was your favorite part of this run?

So it's like playing normally but at the end of the level you just get hit 40 times.
And then intentionally gain points just to have the score be a multiple of 5 with an extra 1

Nice work, I love that this is possible
I had two thoughts about this after thinking about it:
1) Lowest Score, No Damage. Both obscenely hard to route and to execute, as an alternative you could mod the game so damage doesn't cost points.
2) Or go the TOTAL other direction: A mod of Pizza Tower that made it so 'damage combos' (taking damage repeatedly without gaining points in between) cost polynomially or exponentially more score would be interesting. Then you could actually speedrun low% without it taking an obscenely long time, and maybe get the covered 1 point WAR.

I really liked the Gustavo+Brick segments in the video, bringing on 2 of your friends was a clever idea
i thought about "lowest kill count" but that might be too intense😅
I tried a pacifist run. John Gutter itself was ungodly given the enemies die with just a swift breeze.
Pizzascape also has some cheeseslimes in a room that just die horribly.

Twelve and a half hours. It`s like the 6 times more than most of the PT speedruns.
It sets the score to 10 when you finish a level because there’s a bug where if you have 0 score the level isn’t marked as completed.
I would actually like see you doing war level. That level would be interesting to see.

There should be a secret rank for a run with exactly 1 point and an ending judgement screen exclusive to the lowest score possible.
The Noise would honestly flip the bird on you each time and maybe even spam it on the judgement screen.

hey, i tried this out specifically in wasteyard and fastfood saloon. was very proud of my three hundred points in wasteyard until i realized i could get zero in fastfood saloon. i thought that would be the end or limit until i realized the free ten points and the end, i decided not to look much into it until this video. great job; you've really outdone yourself here

I swear I remember it was a bigger deal running out of points in the Patreon demo builds, but running out here in the release build, nothing happens and the game's coded to give you ten points if you finish a level at zero. Honestly, quite the effort, even more than P-ranking. Kudos on the video!

17:10 imagine if you are john pillar and you see peppino holding a shotgun
In wasteyard, you can skip the ghost section right after pillar john by bringing a chicken bandito all the way to the 1 block high corridor next to pillar john, and then do a glitch where you get hit by the bone candle from the chicken while you're crouching in the gap to stand up again while still being in the gap. After this, let the chicken come to you, grab it while still remaining in the gap and throw it at pillar john, skipping the ghost section.
Though you already won on wasteyard so no point i guess :p
There is a way to drain your points easily buy just going through loading zones a ton, then trying to get to the exit before the points reach zero
They should have made a price of clothing or a achievement for pizza tower low score runs
Maybe for at least 1 level

Here's a tip: Taunting works like its name do. Taunt. This will cause the enemy to initiate their attack instantly. A pretty nice tactic used in speedruns with enemies that have something the player needs quickly like Bomb Trolls or Hot Wings.
So if you want the enemy to attack faster, just taunt near them.

For Oregano Desert, you could have let the time run out, and go back and forth between rooms at the end to drain your points with the time.

One i constantly thought about was what's the lowest combo you can go for while STILL getting a P rank? (Since, thinking about it, the only requirements for a P rank are enough points for an S rank, all secrets, all toppings, treasure, 2nd lap and killing the first enemy and keeping the combo from there, how long can you keep up a low combo by only grabbing toppings and only occasionally killing enemies when TRULY necessary??)
For D rank runs, I wonder how difficult it'd be to pull of something like a hitless D rank run?
