After the initial 0-100 reset, once the welcome screen loads, has all the the hardware booted you think? Such as a hdmi port? My screen is cracked, 0 visibility and my TV via hdmi is the only way I'm able to see. The "when screen closed, do nothing." option is the only thing I can enable pretty much.
I'm afraid if I recover i'll be trapped if my HDMI card on the laptop hasn't booted up yet.

After resetting my TOSHIBA Satellite laptop, it worked out well. However, when I need to update drivers in IObit Driver Booster, one of them causes me to go into automatic diagnostics all on account of TVALZ.SYS being corrupt. I have to go into system restore every time and restore it back to the moment before it updates the drivers. What in god's name should I do to fix TVALZ.SYS?!

I have a question... if I already updated to win 10 and then I reset my pc to factory settings will it return to it's original windows 8 or will it keep win 10?
And if it does, will it keep all toshiba apps and software that came with it?

Did you laptop keep Windows 10 or did it revert back to the operating system that it came with? Mine came with Windows 8.1 and I upgraded to Windows 10 when it came out but now I'm trying to do a factory reset to get windows 8.1 back.

If it does that just go to windows and grab an SD card and download windows 10 onto it and then plug it into your laptop and you then wait for it to download and boom!
