The teammates have never been worse since this trial
I focused on grip for this weeks trial, but everyone of my teammates had a power build and my god the ramming was insane. I’d be taking a perfect line and then get rear ended and spun out and then hit again. Still managed first each time but it took a while.
As a wheel user the hardest part of the trial is the other humans. Also, if you have a clutch pedal and stick shift you can drop the cars to N. Sometimes all you need to do is push in the clutch, or clutch kick to help turn the car. Also waiting for the S1 offroad video.
I was having bad teammates 3 times in a row that I decided to humble myself and slap an AWD conversion and just play really safe...
Usually only use the awd conversions but it limits the speed but in this trial handling is more important
i had to carry my teammates by brake checking the ai, tests my blocking skills but man are the teammates bad
Been waiting for this, can already tell it's not gonna go well!
People don't realize how good is it to use a wheel on Forza horizon 5 plus the skill translate to real life driving it has helped me to control my car a lot
The team doesn't understand the word team it seems
The trial is horrible this week
Loving the wheel content, but man I felt the pain of this one. I used the exact same car and had the exact same experience with my team. Needed to do it multiple times as they just kept ramming and spinning everyone.
Ai driver's were nasty this week
We built an entry level sim rig with a g923. It’s been crazy fun so we ordered a direct drive moza R3 wheel. You can swap the rims out for an F1 style or a round wheel.
The most helpful thing my teammates generally did for me in the Trial was quit. I won most of my Trials when all but one or two people quit. I haven't even bothered trying it recently.
Truest thing ever. Just let me solo the damn thing
@@DUBSmb I don't even understand the design idea behind it. "Try our most challenging seasonal content...with a bunch of random clowns." This is likely the first experience with multiplayer that a lot of players are going to have in a Horizon game and it is not likely to encourage them to go looking for more.
Its satisfying to see someone use a car in the game that uses paddles and actually using the paddle on the wheel
My god this week’s trial was frustrating because of the rammers. I had to pull a fast and furious 3 and apply brakes right when they were about to ram me.
I now been playing this game for about 5 weeks and this was my first time doing the trial. it was fun and ended up doing it a few times. But then the one from the week after we were nicely leading the race and the guy behind me decided it be better if we were both off the track. I could not hold myself from returning the favor full send it into him on the next turn, he left I finished last at least the other teammates carried for enough points
Wheel only lobbies in the Forza games would be sick! Horizon and Motorsport.
I would say some "D" class trials might be nice, but the only one I remember was pretty crash-y too, vis-à-vis the teammates.
I wouldnt recommend switching the wheel for a bigger one in a low ff wheel like this one. Wheel recovery while drifting might become slugish and slow
Get an adapter for a quick release wheel and you can change to any wheel that has a quick release on it
Feel your pain . The trial is generally full of power and no brains.However I feel that that McLarens are not suited for tight twisty circuits.
When I this trial I used a stock 720s and the lobby I joined was almost useless. I was first every race and to actually win as a group I had to slow down the ai
This trial was the worst for teammates I'm surprised I even finished the second time around

I was running trials since release, and I've had nothing but literal bots in my lobby with all due respect towards the learning experience, but my god, is it insane
for days like this, I recommend the forza link options "Nice Driving" and "Ironic"
Made it through first attempt but there was some good luck happening, you can use a senna for this trial but limit the power
1st attempt of the panoramìca sprint- told them to f**k off and flip off the screen. 2nd attempt - i would have rage quitted and not play fh5 for the foreseeable future 😂
You got to try and make a video doing some extreme off-roading using the wheel
Your teammates will be dog 💩 9 out of any 10 Trials you run, but for a Trial in S1 Class, it’s on a completely different level.
youre abelr to change the force feedback, so it feels the same like on a bigger steering weel

Not going to lie I sucked at this one but I just had been off for a couple days and I’m still new to the game and I’m still fight myself to not get a new controller that not broken it’s the controller that came with my Xbox 1 back when it came out

Forza: Hey lets make the game more fun by having a team to do a set of races.
Us players: Hey lets ram into any and everyone that has wheels and MAYBE we can win the race 🤣
P.S. while still learning the wheel, just remember its still an arcade/sim racer. You dont need to be nice to the CPU or us humans 😂 and you have to REALLY pick when to just throttle thru everything/spots or just hang back and pick off spots.
how about you drop the wheel? Or at least put it in a corner, not levelled to the car.
