- In this video, I want to introduce my wife, Sandy. She didn't start out hunting with me and she was not from a hunting family. But she has learn to enjoy it and has had some success hunting. My wife hunts with me every chance she gets!! Deer, rabbits and turkeys are her big three. Helps with the hounds, skinning and processing. Has even been known to catch a fish or two!

my wife wont hunt at all but she will go with me to scout and to set a stand up and thats all i can ask for. congrats on the deer i also shoot 270 winchester model 70. wife makes sure i have plenty too eat on all day hunts, she is awesome.

My wife and I have been together since we were 15. Married for 8 years. 23 years together. She watched the video with me. We have hunted together along time and it has brought us closer together. She got a 200 pound 8pt this year in Bama. A family that hunts together , stays together.

I have been hunting since I was a little girl. Started out with my dad and my brother at 10 years old! I worked at my local bass pro shops where I met my now husband and after I first met him, I saw him working at our local gun range. We got to talking and I got his # through a mutual friend and we have been together since! Been together for 10 years, about to make 6 years married and we now have 2 beautiful little girls! We hunt together as much as we can! With our girls so little, I unfortunately haven’t been able to hunt as much but my 4.5 year old loves watching hunting and loves to fish! I know it’s in her blood and her baby sister is 1.5 so hopefully she likes it too. We can’t wait to have our girls out there with us! You both seem like a wonderful couple and I look up to you both as a couple and as parents. Keep doing a great job! My husband and I love watching your videos. God bless!

That was a hell of a shot!! Great job, I wish my wife would have went with me when she was alive my wife died in 2014 and I have been trying to get back in to hunting again since I have been disabled last year I killed my first deer last year since I got back into hunting and I would love to find someone who would go with me in the woods to hunt. Thats a heck of a shot there, congratulations. I am glad you mentioned how hard you been hunting, thats the part people dont see. My fiance wanted to go out turkey hunting last season, I took her out and she killed one the first day. What I wasn't expecting is that she then wanted to tag along with me every morning I went even after she killed one, she probably went out with me 15 mornings in May...it was great. I cant wait for this season to try and get her another one. Im gonna make her watch this video in my efforts to get her to go deer hunting now haha

Wow, it's amazing how couples get involved in there activities. You 2 made this video really enjoyable to watch. By the way congratulations on your harvest. To answer your question, no I don't take my wife hunting. Has no interest and that's not why I married her. We just were just a Happy couple dating, so I popped the question at Sportsman Warehouse in Virginia. She doesn't care when I go or where as long as I come home in 1 piece. With or without a harvest. She would prefer I get something says I'm to grumpy. Be safe and as I mentioned in all your videos keep them up. Oh by the way. Got your tee shirt and have been ask so many times where can I get one

My wife does not hunt with me, she did try it when we first got together. To keep warm I use Arctic Shield, wind and water proof and super warm.
Started my wife going out sitting in stands by herself, she's 4'11", found a new, short .243 and had it cut down. Took it, her and 2 boxes of bullets to an old marine( counterproductive to try and teach your own wife anything), whacked her 1st at 10 yds, watched him for 20 minutes, yep, the Indian lady gets ice cold when hunting, asked me if I knew deer spit out the shells when they eat acorns. Nope, never let 1 hang around long enough for a 4 course meal. That was 20+ years ago. Missed for the first time this year, jerked the trigger. Still working on the part where she guts and drags her own deer.
My wife really enjoys the meat but she just isnt into the hunting part yet, but i am working on getting her to go. great shot too

My wife used to hunt with me a lot but having a little girl slowed that down for a while. My daughter is now 13 and killed a total of 4 deer. My wife has killed a total of 2. Hoping to get her more involved next season. Been enjoying the channel guys ! 👍🏻

My wife has killed bigger bucks than me , lol . When we got married she had never shot a rifle other than rotc in school at camp , but man once she shot my browning bar 30.06 she was hooked!! she is a killer shot , she shot a big 8 at 300 yard in neck with her 270 wsm because that’s all she could see! Now my oldest daughter loves hunting as much or more than me!!! So we definitely are a hunting family !!

How did you convince your wife to let you go hunting when your 3 girls were young?
Twenty years ago I had a show on outdoor channel for two quarters. With three small girls at home, I had to put the hunting and filming aside till the girls got grown. Still hunted some but not like I do now. Sandy didn't hunt much till the girls got old enough to go.

My wife refuses to hunt with a gun. However she has taken up archery 6 yrs ago and has killed 5 deer since then. For that I have changed to almost nothin but bow huntin just to be out there with her. Love the chase! Relish the time spent with my baby.

You remind me alot of my dad and I like watching your videos just started recently and I think it's cool how you've logged in your better days to be able to spend the time you get to in the woods. And I thrive to get my house to look the way yours does I've got several on the wall but still have alot of space left for more. To your wife's question yes I take my wife when I can get her to go but enjoy every min of it and also just getting to start taking my son this past year for the first time was my best memory yet, walking to are stand we walked up on a nice 4 year old I had 2 years worth of pics of and he had his head in a lil sappling making a rub and my boy laid the hammer to him at 25 yards it was awesome. Well continue making great videos and shoot straight!!!

Been their with those blinds.Congrats on your 30 year friendship. My wife used to hunt with me.Now she says I make her nervous. She still has the biggest deer in the house. Her first buck was a 138 inch 10.And I was sitting beside her when she shot him.Very proud husband for sure.
