Commenting after only watching 1st tip about picking a school, i chose a school that I thought looked great but after 6 weeks I left as no support on lesson planning, ect training and mentor late, would suggest best tip to ask questions about lesson planning and marking expectations as these are huge time consumers as a teacher

@@TheWaltonFamilyofThree thanks yeah I did supply for 6 weeks and now at long term supply and their marking and lesson planning support has been so great, just makes lesson planning much easier and another thing less to think about
I wonder . . . Can an ECT who has completed ONE year of the ECT possibly move to Ireland and become a teacher there? Is that something you can answer, or should I check with Irish authorities?
It’s not something I know I’m afraid. I’ll have a quick look but it’s not my area of expertise!
