I was listening to a you tube video yesterday about how empaths love. I guess I sort of forgot how I am when I'm with someone because I've been alone for so long. I was listening to a you tube video yesterday about how empaths love. I guess I sort of forgot how I am when I'm with someone because I've been alone for so long. It reminded me that empaths fall deeply when they like someone. I guess that is why I have to remember as I start to meet men that I have to be strong in my convictions what kind of man I want to be with and if I see that things are going south or I am betrayed I have to be able to cut my emotional ties. The last one has been hard for me in the past but for my own self care it is going to be a necessity.

Glad to see a fellow empath here! I hope you're healed by now. True. Empaths falls deeply inlove because making others feel comfortable and happy is our strength/purpose in life. It's either good or bad. When meeting the wrong person, it could be a recipe for disaster that's why I'm really wary before having relationships to anyone. While being selfless is good, we should not forget to take care of our own selves too (There's this guy that I like but I'm being wary of my emotions because I know my capacity when it comes to love.)

i just want to thank you Kevin! i left my kids dad who was abusive over a year ago. got a full time job, my own place, and became a manager. i found a negative pattern in my life with every guy i ever dated, and every situation i encountered with a man ended badly. i realized it was my self worth. i decided to stay single and work on my mental health, and your videos have helped me alot. i lost my dad when i was only 12, and most of my life he was in prison. the last 3 years of his life he was in a hospital bed and that's when i finally got to see him more. i never really had any older male figures to teach me things like this. and you have helped me so much. so here i am 24, and i feel as tho threw you i have like an older bro or something. thank you, keep making videos cause you have helped people like me a lot
