    1. Express that you believe in him
    2. Don't compete with the people & things that he loves
    3. Give random affection
    4. Don't allow him to go unappreciated
    5. Respect his voice, opinion, advice in areas he is equipped to lead

    Thank you for addressing that mens needs in relationships are not just "cook, clean, screw". Each man has individual emotional, physical, spiritual, mental needs.

    • @masterdevoe2519
      @masterdevoe2519 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Men can cook and clean for themselves, but women do it, it makes the relationship easier, because women need to do something if they want the relationship to succeed. Otherwise if only the man puts in all the effort, there's no reason for a relationship.
      Emotional stuff comes way later, because emotions are sacred to men, he will not open up to you until he is ready.
      But yeah, he has other needs, and believe me men have more emotional appetite than women do, he will exhaust you with his emotional needs.

    • @N3dita
      @N3dita 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@masterdevoe2519 could you explain further the ‘men have more emotional appetite than women do’ ?
      I’m curious cause what I hear a lot is the stereotypical thing of women being more emotional creatures than men etc

    • @masterdevoe2519
      @masterdevoe2519 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@N3dita By emotional appetite I mean that men like to enjoy the emotions a woman displays, emotions are a feminine trait, men have them too, but women are on another level. You can look at the Yin-Yang symbol for a better explaination.
      And why did I say that men will exhaust women with their emotional appetite? Because when someone enjoys something, they'll become addicted to it, here men are consumers, hence the appetite. And women want to be more emotional, they want to share that part of themselves with their men, eventually the women feel exhausted, but men don't. Of course I am oversimpliying this dance, I don't know how else I can explain it.

    • @N3dita
      @N3dita 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@masterdevoe2519 ohh I see, I think I’ve understood. Thanks so much for explaining. As a woman I love learning about these things 😇🙏🏼

    • @masterdevoe2519
      @masterdevoe2519 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@N3dita If that's the case, you should look up Carl Jung's male and female archetypes. He talks about the collective subconscious mind, the deeper part of subconscious mind which everyone in the world shares because it's written in our DNA.

    “Security is the currency of love”. Great quote Kev. That is so true. Knowing that men want security too is real. Not dating a man you don’t believe in is not dating intentionally. Dating for dating’s sake is not helping you find the qualities you need in a man or he needs to find in you. Appreciation makes for good relations for both! Remember to appreciate. Good advice.

    *Kev let me start by saying thank you! This is one of the best videos I have ever seen on this subject. I have a best male friend that I would debate with all the time on certain relationship issues. He always said "Women are dumb because they just don't listen." Of course I argued him down until he said "Who can tell you what a man is thinking better than another man?"
    Years later, I would've saved myself alot of heartache, pain and lost time if I would've listened to the men that cared about me. Lesson learned.*

      That’s real. Mostly, I hear divorcees give toxic advice out of bitterness… I was raised like that, and went into relationships as a very young woman with inherited blindness. Based on my observation and experience, relationships are hard work! It’s like having a full-time job, but the benefits are amazing. I’m grateful for these conversations talking about practical ways to reinforce the foundation, cuz I never got that

    I completely agree with all that you've discussed here. I would like to add that having a relationship means that you are both going to grow and evolve throughout time. A man will benefit from the support given by a woman as he changes and becomes a version of himself that wasn't necessarily there when you first met. This will require updating certain habits and behaviors to support these changes because you shouldn't stay stagnant and learn to grow along with your man. When a man shares an idea with you, listen to his ideas and avoid negating what he has shared. Let him know that you are there to support him if he is very passionate about his new direction. Give honest feedback but not with criticism. Remember that you are supposed to be your man's safe place and his peace.

      Exaclty what I was trying to say below. This also involves the man being able to express himself to you. The average man has a huge fear of expressing vulnerability to women because the average woman can’t handle or understand when a man acts in a way that she doesn’t expect him to act aka: the man box, which both men and women put men into.

    You are a genius. You just put into words why our marriage works so well 👍 From outside perspective jealous people tend to think: Why is he with her? He is nice, financially well off, looks good while I am not from the same background. I always try to explain that what we give is equal. Just not the same. The things a "traditional" wife gives are less visible but equally important 👍 What matters is not just thinking "what do I deserve?" but "What can I offer? Am I what my partner deserves?"
    Selfishness destroyed the construct of relationships. It's not easy to find someone with the same values in times where it is only promoted to look at what someone can give to you or else is considered a waste of time. That's not empowering. That's just becoming the toxic part of the relationship yourself.

    I love that you always specify that these are for emotionally mature or better men. It wasn't until I went on a long and difficult healing journey that I discovered that I actually naturally have most of these great qualities and always have given them to my partners. But I always wondered why it never mattered because always got my heart broken or cheated on no matter how many great qualities I had or how good of a woman I was, it's sad that just recently figured out it wasn't me as I originally thought. It was the quality of men that I had relationships with. If they are low quality as humans and boyfriends in general it really doesn't matter you could be an Earth Angel and they still are going to hurt and traumatize you.

    I would add to, that if you feel like Kev is telling you, “ Don’t talk about your fears; just keep them to yourself, and let your man do what he will.”: He’s not. Tell the guy you like WHY you are saying things like you “don’t like him staying out with those guys, or I don’t like that you play some much, do so much whatever”….Men need to know the why, without feeling like it is OUR fault that you are feeling the way you feel. Now, a man being an asshole is different, of course. I’m just saying that being vulnerable and expressing your fears without making it your man’s problem to fix is very attractive. It is to me anyway. I try to embody emotionally the quote, “Love in such a way that the other person feels free.” I try to not make MY feelings my partners fault, because they are not. So, I tell her how I feel, my fears, etc- it’s wonderful being loved for the things you are unsure of about yourself, or in spite of them. The best thing is, I get to live in a world where I am not trapped in my own head, dealing with all my unsaid fears. Doing so, being vulnerable, gives me a chance to change, and grow, and love more deeply as well- because at that point, I now have a choice, because it’s out in the open ( my fear that is). Speaking it out loud, keeps it from ruling me. Don’t let your fear brow beat you into trying to hold onto security by force of will- romance involves risk, and risk requires vulnerability. You express yourself honestly and clearly because you want your man to choose you freely everyday, just as he wants you to be choosing him freely everyday.

    Your videos are great - very helpful indeed. Being a happily married insightful man - will you be giving advice to men as to how to cherish, respect and treat women to bring out and experience the best in them? A lot of men need this advice - for themselves and the ladies in their lives. Thank you so much :-)

    Loved the video kev. Although I have my fears about this same energy not being given back to me what would motivate to give this to my man is because I know what’s it’s like to not have any support , for someone to not have your back and people not believing in you and in some men’s cases they all they have had and got so I am in the same boat have been my entire life …. Never had support love or anyone to believe in me or have my back and I’m all I got Al thought this has never stopped me but just has pushed me to grind harder none the less it still hurts and I would never wish that on anyone not even my worse enemy so for my man to feel the emotional support I get it . I feel that is what is unique about me as a woman… I have so much love and care to genuinely and sincerely give and pour out yet I have never really experienced it ever in my entire life not even childhood yet I know what it is and what it looks like. I’m not perfect but I get it .

      I hear ya. So there may be an issue there.
      I'm not gonna talk about the possible issue...cause I don't really know you like that. It could stem from childhood, but idk.
      All I can say is, you gotta choose better men. These tips are only for the good men that deserve your love and affection and stuff. Not them losers and f boys.
      Just make sure you get a good man who's attracted to you fully...and is in that dating with a purpose phase. Then you can show him all of these things...if thats what you're looking for at the time.

    Thank you Kev, I really enjoyed this one! I’d say I’m pretty good at 4 of these points, except for giving my partner time and space for other things that he loves, I’m aware that I’ve been competitive in this department in the past and definitely need to work in this ✨🙏🏻✨ Also, Happy New Year to you and the community! I wish an amazing year for us all ✨🥳🥂🍾🌹🙏🏻✨
