So nice to hear of your fond memories of Christopher and Veronica 💞. It's always a great feeling to meet people who "get" us, and connect with them. Nobody should have to explain, apologise or feel guilty for being "different" to what society demands. We're all equal, worthy and valuable in the world and have much to offer, given the chance! Great video - your cinematography is on point - beautiful scene! 🌳🏫❄️
Hi Amanda. I'm Tim. A lot of what you say resonates with me. After reaching severe burnout at work a couple of years ago I fell down the autism rabbit hole. I had come across autism yesrs ago when trying to understand my own lifelong struggles with extreme social anxiety, but didn't take it seriously at the time, but when researching reasons for burnout I found a common thread in autism so i took another look. After months of research I finally decided I had to seek a clinical diagnosis and I was assessed and diagnosed/identified as autistic in 2023 at the ripe old age of 50. I have enjoyed several of your videos and I will probably binge watch the rest tomorrow. I hope you continue to enjoy making them. I hope you don't get discouraged by low view numbers at first, it takes time for new channels to build a following, but TH-cam recommended one of your videos to me, so the algorithm is working, it might just take some time. Hang in there. I wish you a very happy new year.
@timb4756 Thank you for letting me know that. I was rumbling and went through a meltdown as facebook has suspended me for no reason, and it set me off. I hate anything like that it's negative and hate negativity so much ❤️ ripe old age lol. 50 isn't old! Thank you for the kind feedback, and the recommended thing has made me feel so much better. I thought since I was blocked on facebook, they somehow flagged my ip (I haven't done anything wrong). I'm a boring person lol no idea why I'd be flagged. I'm glad you received a diagnosis. Buy burnout sucks, I have been there. I'll make a video about it ❤️
Hi there! Just thought I’d comment on your videos a bit as well to help out :) For some reason your “out in the world” style of videos is something that really resonates with me. I think a lot of us autistics may stay tucked into our own little quiet corner of the world and never stick our noses out more than we must. That is certainly how I operate. I’m a cold-weather person and seeing you out in the elements all bundled up is a fun change of pace from the person-in-a-room type of videos I mostly see. I also really enjoyed your description of how much of a difference just a little compassion and understanding can make during your school exams. While this can especially resonate for us sometimes, I believe we can all benefit from doing our best to keep that in mind. Thanks so much for your videos! You and your efforts are appreciated!
Thank you QuintessentiallyBrittish. These videos that you are doing is important. Never forget that. I know, because I am here for three reasons, and you're very helpful to all of them.
