Enjoy your show & immensely appreciate your knowledge in such an array of categories. Your connection to Kentucky (our home) intrigues my husband and me. It was surprising to find you in Greenville for the flea market there. We often still call it jockey, as many did especially in its beginning since it was the forerunner. We love when you have a show while you’re in Kentucky & towns you’ve mentioned-Dawson Springs, Earlington, your warehouse “house”, Litchfield, etc. Wells Logan County, KY
Ahhh now I know George..one of my grandmother's every day was Taylor..Louisville pottery...that exact pattern of divided bowl...a burning question for a long time!!!!
My grandmother had a Larkin desk , she paid 10 dollars and a proof of purchase from the soap. They are sturdy little desks and yet lady like . John Gnagy was big in the 60s he had a t.v. show still some of them on utube .Great show .
When we bought our first house in Beaverton in 1999, we collected switchplates and had different ones in each room of the house. My dad said they were "ostentatious"! LOL With those Franciscan plates, I love how they set them up in a dish rack. 😆
Squealing with delight about the Haywood Wakefield end table. I have a few pieces and never knew what they were, just liked the wood and forms. This is why I so enjoy watching and learning from you! Thanks.
Great overview of antique fest. Had to laugh, I looked at many of the same things you did while I was there. Thank you for the appraisal on my boxes of rocks.
Love walking through the market with you. I just got back from a three week trip in Poland and Romania. Gdansk, on the Vistula River, had a large antique/vintage and artisan market. I met and purchased original oil paintings (painted on the back of vintage wallpaper) from Pawel Pandemonium. His art is raw and suggestive. He started out as a tattoo artist and his pieces will fit nicely in my art collection.
This was great love going through the antique shows and malls. You are easy on the ears and very knowledgeable about quite a bit. So much fun. You have a great day and safe travels
That looks like a wonderful show! Something for everyone. Mom had that same Larkin desk. She had been given it by her grandmother when she married. I wonder if Great Grandmother was the soap buyer or how she got it. I know Mom loved it. I'm not sure where it ended up.
I love that you go to Centralia! I moved to Centralia about five years ago and it is the coolest town! Such a vibrant historical culture here. I would love to meet you the next time you’re in town 🤩
Brother!! You should totally get a trailer set up! We’re all getting older, that’s just a fact! Think how much easier it would be especially on rainy days! If it’s too hot, then you could pull stuff out and set up. It very well could open you up to a whole new market of merchandise too! Things you couldn’t haul before! Think about it!❤
I have seriously considered it, but I don't really enjoy driving with one (I tried a few times to test it), and I also feel like as I'm getting older that having something that encourages me to take even MORE stuff might be counterproductive lol
Good evening, George! That Dr Pepper lunch box was in good shape...pink ain't my thing, though 😂 It's nice to actually see some Dr Pepper, though. I liked that large metal dustpan, on the end of the table. It needed some TLC, but that's not a problem. I have a neckties celluloid box, but mine is long and narrow. I liked that dough trough, but the painting on it didn't exactly look period to the middle of the C19. It was a bit too "fresh" looking, to me. I need that galvanised cart! That thing would get put to use a lot round here! I really liked that barnacle-covered buoy. That was a natural art piece. That looked to be a really fun show, and there were several items that really interested me. Thanks for the tour!
Lol no pink Peppers? I think that was pretty recent, I prefer the cinnamon red logo color. DId not think that painting was 19th century either, but the dough bowl was cute...the galvanized cart, on the other hand, was just right! Along with barnacle buoys, I'm thinking of ways to incorporate cool old things into the garden space these days (for lack of interior space, lol)
Definitely the cinnamon red for Dr Pepper! If I had that galvanised cart, it would get the wheels run off it. That's something I could really use. If cloches weren't so expensive, that barnacle-covered buoy would make a fantastic art piece, to put under a cloche. My interior space, though, has been completely exhausted, as of this weekend.@@TheAntiqueNomad
The framed bit of lace was not tatting (I’ve tried to learn, but that skill eludes me). I think it was likely bobbin lace (I have a friend in Washington who did bobbin lace), which is a skill I’ve not even tried to learn.
I enjoy thrifting for many reasons. For fun, for collecting, for learning history.
Fun video George! Thanks for sharing!
400 daelers, wow. The weekend was so well executed!
Bummer about rain in other places. Good that it didn't bothered locals !! 😂
Nice of selection of items always something new to see ❤
Thank you George for a great video!
I had a Jon Gnagy 'learn to draw' kit when I was little! I love seeing all these great booths with you!
Seems like good prices at the market 😊

GE brings good things to life
I grew up w an all steel kitchen in a Levittown home in Philadelphia
Neat! I like them a lot, easy to clean and no wood warping and staining

So much fun George! Just love seeing all the old familiar things. Look forward to appraisal show. Cat
Thanks for a great video George! But what I really want to know is did you get some ice cream?
I got a shake at Bill & Bea's at the end lol
Great video - nice to see all the different tables.
Thanks 👍
Those brown glasses with the wooden handle were premiums at Shell gas stations in the early 1960s I believe.
My grandparents had that cowboy-themed set, which always seemed funny since they were natives of Tampa.
Hi George and everyone!
Great overview of antique fest. Had to laugh, I looked at many of the same things you did while I was there. Thank you for the appraisal on my boxes of rocks.
Your rocks rock! I was so glad to see you again. I'm not surprised, you know what to look for at a show
@TheAntiqueNomad I know what to look for because I have great mentors and friends. Thank you George for always generously sharing your knowledge.

Hi Yvon!
I missed you by a day! I was there on Friday.

It was a nice show for its size! Great Grandmother in my family would've been too young to buy the Larkin desk, I imagine it would've been her mom
I love that you go to Centralia! I moved to Centralia about five years ago and it is the coolest town! Such a vibrant historical culture here. I would love to meet you the next time you’re in town 🤩
That looked like a fun event. If I had known about it, I would have headed up from Vancouver.
Yes, fun!🎉
Thank you! I love the multi-national face paint
Wonderful as usual! Ty, George!❤❤❤
Absolutely loved this adventure! Learned so much especially about things I have or have had...OMG So much fun!❣❣❣❣❣

Well! That was fun!
Dang George I wanna be there with y'all never been to Washington
It's really nice in Washington!
I have an Indian vest that matches that hat exactly!
I've seen those too! I think they're cool
