You shared alot that I have never seen before. This was very interesting. Thanks George. Wishing you a Happy New Year full of alot of exciting times, peace, love, and good health. 😊
The Star of David hutchwas off the hook and worth the price. Simply the best find of an antique l utube today hope you and all your five friends who do antique great job a shawl super holiday weekend and new year
That little town is interesting as the antique / vintage stores in it . Never thought of visiting Kentucky. I’ll have to rethink where I want to travel in the US when I’m able to . Thank you for taking us along . Happy and Prosperous New Year to George and Xeno !
The bowling bag with ball included might be the perfect handbag. Get an arm workout and use it as a theft deterrent against purse snatchers simultaneously!
06:40 We had a Selectric model ONE when I was a kid. It replaced my dad's barely post-WWII Royal. I learned to type on the Royal; the giant electric was an upgrade. Noisy sucker though.
At 1:13, the plate decorated with poppies caught my eye, and now I'm down a rabbit hole looking at pictures of Villeroy & Boch Dresden and their Secessionist designs. This will be my new obsession! Thank you for your videos, I always learn something.
I'm from the south where a simple friendly kiss on the cheek, upon greeting someone, is still fine. We tend to make much to much out of simple gestures of friendship. We're not talking about on the lips.
WOW I love some of that oak/walnut furniture, those are beautiful, but I would need a HUGE house (not a rental) to live in for that. lol Thanks for sharing that 2nd store that was something great. You have a wonderful day and safe travels
Hey George I enjoy watching you and I learn a lot from you when I see these places that you go into and they're jam-packed full of beautiful items it makes me so sad because they should be and people's houses being enjoyed in loved not being Warehouse in a cold that bothers me a lot
Kinda interesting you pointed out the checkered Vans !!!! I watched the Berners bro. Episode last night of the whole staff wearing checkered accessories to be like Kate from follow that bug . And I keep thinking of the Vans hat I bought a couple yrs ago for 2 dol that's got the checkered pattern. It just looked very well made. I've never gotten around to handwashing it. And if you haven't watched that episode you gotta go check it out !! Hilarious they did a after hours glow hunt in the heart antique mall . And he took Kate to visit Mrs Pat and did the Christmas tour of her house.
❤ This was a great video as usual! You’re such a delight to follow. I learn so much and it helps me appreciate so much. I really enjoyed your funny couch therapy vignette! That was great! Happy New Year! Wishing a healthy and happy 2024 to all.
Happy New Year, George! I'm catching this one a bit late...been a busy day. I liked that European hutch, with the bowed ends on it. There was an old hand-crank pencil sharpener, at 1:30, that I wouldn't mind having. There was an Adirondack picture frame, at 1:52, that would've had to come with me. There were so many old books there, I would've been occupied for hours 😅 Was that an old spelter statuette, at 3:01? That was interesting. I'd have a ball rummaging through that place. I have several Mae West cigarette cards, and two or three Jenny Lind. I could see myself using that old blender. I liked that. The yellow epergne, at 17:16, was really pretty. I've not seen many, at all, in yellow. At $75.00...yep, it would've come home with me. There looked like a Flow Blue fish platter, at 19:53, that really caught my attention. The chess set, at 21:09, was interesting. Wonder if it had all of the pieces... I have a thing with old chess sets. Loved the cast iron match holders! I have a B & H monkey, like the one at 23:05, but mine is a bank. Mine looks _much_ better than that one did. I really like the old B & H pieces. They made some fantastic oil lamps that I seriously like. That W. C. Fields statue looked like an Esco one. I finally found a lamp to go with my Mae West lamp, but I have no idea who made it. Those were really nice places to shop! Thanks for the take-along!
Hey George, that rocket bank you pointed out is from First Federal Savings of Detroit. I had that same bank, as I am from Detroit. Can’t believe the price - 90 bucks - WOW! Happy New Year, 9a from MI.
Just hilarious, George! Beautiful things, and the prices are surprising. Some values higher than expected, and others much lower especially on the furniture. I don't think we could purchase those pieces for so little here in the south. Thanks and Happy New Year! Cat
Thoroughly enjoy your videos❣️ Question: how can one tell if plates and cups are safe to eat/drink from if they come from other countries; to protect ourselves from lead, etc.?

Hi, Maria! I thought they were great but I couldn't afford
Wow the prices seem high especially for the location
people here in quebec would loose their minds over those gloves!

That chaise (daybed, rather) is probably a Corbusier copy, but originally from the 1920s.

Brian Taylor has normalized winning trades for me and it’s a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started
After I raised up to 325k trading with him I bought a new House and a car here in the states also paid for my daughter surgery (Tracy). Glory to God.shalom
That sofa looked like the one I grew up with unfortunately my mother covered it with plastic covers UGGHGHGH. Thought the coffee grinders were cool.

I want those Kiss Masks!!!
Could the (got picker) hat be a play on the (got 🥛 slogan)?
Happy New Year George and Zeno 🎉thanks for taking us along on your travels to cool antique shops ❤️
hey GEORGE check out PORTSMOUTH OHIO while you're around HERE... MOM & POP type shops .1 store is 3 floors high.. old town along the river
I love Black Americana. Kentucky, dare not tread there. That's a shame. Too sensitive these days.
💖
Salt cellars ... I cannot explain my addiction to them. Fortunately they are small.
You are not alone! And yes, small is good sometimes
I found a fully tooled leather garment bag for $5.00.
