The clone commando is probaly one of the most inconsistent units ever in star wars. Sometimes they were the best even without their squad, sometimes even a squad wasnt good at all, sometimes they took down armys, sometimes they couldnt get anything done. Their armor at some point could literally tank an explosion that would damage small capital ships, destroy tanks or shuttles, then later they could be downed by a stun bolt. They had the best arsenal in the gar and then suddenly they only had dc 15a blaster carbines.
In canon it kinda makes sense. They didn't start sucking until the imperial era, where they were used for grunt work and security under heavy influence of programming that took their unique personalities away.
@@NerdX151 yeah i dont understand why they did that with them anyways, especially with hemlock at least appearing to be one of the more competent imperiams i do not get why they would misuse them that much. Like, the episode where cody, crosshair and some other clones broke the defenses of that seppie remnant fortress. That type of thing is what commandos are supposed to be doing. Still, it doesnt make sense for their equipment or actual combat skill to go down like that. Then again, it is in a kids show so they cant make them too OP.
I love clone troopers so much My favorite are the 501st legion 41st 212th 327th Wolf 7th sky corps pack and galactic Marines l wish we seen more of these clone Battalions in clone wars
The stealth ops troopers actually appeared In every clone wars episode. Problem is, if you would've noticed them, they wouldn't have been doing their job right.
Cody's reaction to order 66 is more explainable now. He was grinding on siege after siege, and when the chip hit, he was just cutting the past out of his mind and throwing his friend into the enemy coloumn trying to wrap up the hellish war that killed many of his brothers.
Many Jedi in the early seasons wore clone vambraces… anakin and obi wan did from after the second half of season 3 until season 6/7 And mace windu, kit fisto, eeth koth, plo koon, adi galia, pong krell, cin drallig, ima gun di, Halsey & nox, and saesee tin wore the vambraces from season 1 until season 6 Notable Jedi who didn’t were luminara, shaak ti, kiadi mundi, yoda, Ayla secura, Quinlan vos, and any non Jedi generals…
The recon troopers remind me of being a rto and so when assigned to a LRSD. Up to 150 kilometers in front of friendly forces reporting enemy troop's units and their movements and whatever else the Corps Commander's (or whomever we ended up sliced to, usually a task force commander) PIR happened to be. Out all on our own with emergency exfil hours away if things went south. But, as far as the feeling that we were replaceable...I think every grunt has thought that at some point or another. You know the active duty Army is, or was back then, just over 10 Infantry divisions. Being a paratrooper I could be assigned to any of the seperate LRSD units or to the 82nd, the 173 or 501 Parachute Infantry Regiments, to any of the light Infantry Divisions or the 101st Air Assault Div. If I had gotten assigned to go to Ranger Assessment and Selection or whatever they call it now, then if I passed, I could have been assigned there. Though a lot of men couldn't get to Ranger Regiment, any of those men in Regiment can come over to a line unit if they so chose or if the Army really needed to promote them out to the line units due to needs of the Army. Which is my point of feeling replaceable. So, one not need be a clone to understand their actual worth to a military organization.
Dude I’ve always wanted this to happen since I first watched the clone wars as a kid thank you so much for making so many of childhood dreams come true
@@isaackim7675 Honestly, i do. With all the stuff they where -ordered- to do, and the fact that clones where hardwired to follow commands beyond what any normal living beings would go along with, they essentially had no chance at NOT becoming "the bad guys". Game was rigged from the start for them.
