Instead of gratitude however the other padawans looked at her with scorn.

Speaking to the battle of genosis. I don't think the movies portrayed the state of the jedi order very well. It just sorta brushes off how devastating the battle was for them. Granted there were still alot of jedi out in the galaxy, the fact that so many died in one place really should of been a huge slap into reality for them. I have 2 Yoda theories for you. 1. They are the Light Side equivalent of the Dathomerians, a people who evolved on a planet with a light side nexus. We have at least 2 species like that for the dark side, but we've never seen a light side people like that. This might explain why the few Yoda we see are so powerful in the force too. 2. Yoda never actually knew his people. He could have been an orphan, never learning their customs and ways. I think this is way less likely because he doesn't act like someone who's never seen another of their kind when Yaddle is around.
I can't really agree with the part about the Jedi being so arrogant not to wear armor, because back in the high republic or further when the last war the Jedi participated in, they volunteered to give up their armor and never join any war, not because they thought they were better.

Dathomir is definitely the most terrifying planet. In the books and comics the night sisters are notorious for traveling the galaxy and kidnapping human men to bring them back to dathomir. They would use magic on them to increase their stamina for the breeding rituals, some men would breed up to 60 night sisters during the two day ritual. They would be held in temples and their minds corrupted by magic and pleasure until they loved being used for breeding. After a few rituals he would be given the choice to go home or to stay on dathomir where he would get treated like a king and get to take multiple wives that would do anything to please him and keep him happy. It's truly disgusting, I'm laterally shaking in terror just thinking about it...
It’s very tragic how Mustifar use to be a thriving lush landscape only for a bloody war to literally tear the planet apart into a molten lava covered wasteland.
I'm thinking Sidious probably exterminated the Geonosians so as to erase any possibility of them speaking of Palpatine's true identity, his connection to the Separatists as well as his involvement behind the Clone War in general. In essence, the same way (and for the same reasons) he sent Vader to "take care of" the Separatist leaders on Mustafar.
I’d like to think deep in the unknown regions or wild space there is a Starweird home world that would probably be a scary planet if it were to exist in canon and no one has actually found it because anyone that does never returns to talk about it but that is just fanfic stuff and a theory lol
46:00 Sidious wants Ultimate power. Dathomeer is essentially a window's eye into ancient history. His rivals are there, and they can be easily contained. Lastly, once their uses were up he would Force Drain the entire planet. There is a lot of reasons really why to isolate since it provides information of the past which is knowledge which is power, it provides a containment for all his prisoners which will either die there or be strong enough for entertainment, and finally the nexus there is a once in a lifetime chance to extend his life span once the right ritual is set up. The coven is against him so setting that ritual would take a while so isolating that planet is the easiest and most efficient way to go about several plots at once.
Made me wonder. Are there any other planets besides Yodas (atleast from what weve heard) That are steeped in a Light side Nexus?? I feel like those are harder to make probably.
Lothal and couriscant both have one, where the temples are on each world. But the couriscant nexus got corrupted and then covered over by the current Jedi temple
another observation regarding the bettle of geonosis and beyond: droids exhibit no force energy, meaning no jedi could have seen or predicted the presence of the droid army that Dooku had at his disposal. They never could have seen it coming, literally. not sure if someone more brilliant came to the same conclusion, but just found it an interesting tidbit i noticed after watching this vid for at least the 50th time, lol.
In geonosis, there was actually a destroyer droid that interupted the call between Obi wan and the council. They would have known there where at least some droinds in the planet then
Nathema certainly deserves first place, a dubious honor...I would have mentioned several other worlds. Lehon, homeworld of the Rakata, Taris, Ziost (literally the same as Nathema), Onderon and Dxun, Byss - just to name a few.
Yoda and Yaddle interact with each other and work together in the High Republic book Cataclysm (def the high republic books but can’t remember if it’s cataclysm 100%)
A moon sized Death Star would have effects on nearby planet’s weather, and their tectonic plates etc. Just like our moon does our Earth. That always bugged me.
A death star is less dense than a moon so while still massive, its gravitational effects would not be the same as a large rocky moon that has the density to cause a stronger gravity, a death star is essentially a hollowed out structure where as a moon sized rock is a solid dense and heavier structure throughout, the full gravitational force of a moon effects things much harder than something less dense than itself, it's less to do with the size of the object that's asserting it's own force but more to do with the density of the object coz it's the density that has the stronger force... does that make sense?
my guy, its a universe with space wizards, where people can shoot lighting out of their hands, ships act like they're atmospheric fighters, lasers move slower than light speed, and plasma swords not only work but can reflect plasma bolts perfectly. Do not look for physics/natural logic in this science fantasy setting. just enjoy the fireworks.
Who thinks Darth Bane could've soloed the arena fight? If I'm not mistaken (don't remember the form name) but he trained so hard in one form that a single drop of rain could hit him.
According to Legends lore all metal ore mined from Tatooine is also unusable, if you extract the metal and try to make something out of it it just corrodes away to nothing super fast, so for that reason it's my headcanon that whatever planet killer ordnance they used also destroyed the natural resources of the place while glassing the surface. It was less effective than the life-eater virus though since people actually survived by just hiding in caves.
The most terrifying planets in Star Wars, in my opinion: Dathomir, Geonosis, Felucia, Umbara, Korriban (Moraband in Canon and Legends in Filoni's Clone Wars), Onderon, and Malachor V.
That ending at 8:00 points out what I say about the Sith all the time you don’t have to have zero consciousness at all to be a sith. It’s mostly about freedom and devotion to the dark side
True, Vitiate was truly a monster even among the Sith and even planned a galaxy wide ritual to suck out all of the force in the galaxy. It comes to no surprise that both Sith and Jedi worked together to destroy him.
Honestly I think the force wielder to fear the most is one who can use the dark and the light. Emotions fuel the dark. If you can do that without it turning into a runaway reaction, and maintain the focus and peace to hone the power, even simple powers become world shattering very quickly. It's not enough to just fuel power. You have to focus it and make it stronger. Unchecked power destroys indiscriminately. Focused power could very well make the Death Star, even the system busting variant, look like a child's toy. Like Vader famously said. It pales in comparison to the power of the force.
The story of yadel, I've never heard of anyone, real or fiction, with that type of resilience and unnatural levels of forgiveness. Jesus christ is the only one I can think of who comes CLOSE. Granted he was, eh, real? In a way... you know what I mean.
I found tatooine to be another place strangely the darkside destroyed the surface of the planet and its inhabitants that they never recovered remember the sand people being technologically advanced or the fact there was once seas even Ziost recovered which made it very interesting
Tatooine was literally glassed by Rakatan weapons after the ancestors of both the sand people and Jawa rebelled against them, and the sand is that glass after it's been broken down. It's my headcanon that this event also is what rendered all metal ore on the planet unusable, probably due to some advanced dark side weapon.
40:43 The word is "wary", not "weary". "Weary" is bored. "Wary" is cautious. 49:36 "Lay in wait", not "laid wait". 52:04 "Lay beyond them in a three-day journey"? That's a *weird* sentence. "*In* a three-day journey" makes no sense (nothing can be in a journey, English doesn't work like that). "*Beyond* a three-day journey" would make grammatical sense. 52:06 "There *are* no animal life"? Life isn't an uncountable plural. There IS no life. (And right after that you say "*is* some plant life", so you aren't even being consistent.) It's like you want to use flowery language but don't quite know how. Train you must.
So at 14:50 is the reason i've never subscribed to this channel. As a lore nut I know you know that the Jedi do not wear armor for a specific reason. Hubris is not it. The Jedi Do NOT wear armor because of the Ruusan Reformations. After a 100 year war with the Brotherhood of the Sith. When Bane tricked the Brotherhood, and formed the Rule of Two. The Jedi thought they had won. The Republic was reeling from all of this, and many of the peoples of the Republic feared that the Jedi could or would become like the Sith. Jedi held military rank and positions. They own huge armadas and armies, and armor. Infact the wore some of the best armor the Republic could afford because of the War. The Jedi Realized after the war that they were not trusted, so they along with members of the Senate set up the Ruusan Reformations. Where the Jedi were to give up their armies, armadas, armor, and military ranks. Jedi were to leave the Senate as politicians. And replace their armor with Robes as they had once wore. This along with 1000 years of peace is why the Jedi did not wear armor.
To be honest they were probably forced into it. Either threatened directly or threatened with the idea that they'd be wiped out by someone else unless they allied with Sideous who promised protection. It's how the Sith do.
1:08:48 …or even yoda himself. I doubt that yoda and even yado know anything about their own species and that’s why when yoda is questioned about his heritage/species he doesn’t divulge any details/information about it. Or maybe 🤔 a better theory is they are in hiding in waiting in the deep core for yoda to return with supplies and aid but he never does becuz he completely forgot due to his Alzheimer’s condition 😢so 😢 sad. I mean look at grogu he’s already in early stages of that tragic condition that he’s already forgotten how to talk, he can’t even remember what happened to him a couple decades ago during the events of order 66 I feel bad for the little guy. He’s even forgotten his own age that he’s agreeing with everyone when they say he’s 50 years old, I mean cmon bro look at yourself ur not 50 😅. Anyways may the force be with you, always… peace ✌🏼 out
24:01 Unfortunately, the Geonosians allied with the devil. He was forcefully taking control of the Galaxy, whichever Queen decided to ally with him is the one responsible for their death. The Jedi being arrogant is nowhere as smooth brained as allying with a shady old man who looks like the picture next to the definition of "shady-as-poodoo!" 😂
Always thought order 66 was one of the best laid plans ever when I first saw the movies. Maybe it is but I was 12 or some shit when it came out. Either way, it's insane, the clones knew about it, all of it. They consistently died knowing one day they're going to turn on their "comrades." It's insane to me that it went so far and wide without something stopping it.
23:57- I don’t think that is way nor nearly as complicated! Yes the bugs were definitely loyal to the Queen and only the Queen! But she was basically just a servant to whoever paid the most. And there lies the problem. Just because you were the highest bidder in the past, just because you are now and you would be for a very long time! You can’t just keep pumping money into a world or race endlessly! Especially after you no longer needed them. At some point someone will offer more! So when we got to that time where they were no longer useful they became a very big lose end! So he whipped them out! It’s pretty bad but if you really think about it, it could have been way way worse!!!
Datha'mere is a sentient planet, or has a pseudo- sentience and will. Sidious caught on that the planet Datha'mere's Will has influenced the life on its surface due to the sentient species communing with entitiy/s in some of their rituals, Datha'mere taught the night sisters to use its own blood/ichor through the Darkside, steeping the Planet deeper into the Darkside of the force. Strengthening Datha'mere further. Sidious Didnt only invest in Superweapon RnD just to keep his Empire peoples inline. He also was thinking existential threats, like large powerful entities that he was tiptoeing around in the Dark so to speak
It's pretty easy to see why this group of Jedi weren't very successful on Geonosis: 8:52 let's be honest, these idiots don't look like they've ever even held a sword before this moment. And WTF is up with the Asian girl doing that "straight arm chop/head turn/Stop…in the name of love" hand signal move😂? They couldn't find actors that actually look like they might know what they're doing? They must have been dating someone to get these roles. This scene cracks me up every time. I'll say this, at least they don't seem to have anyone doing the useless Ashoka reverse grip. I don't know what the f'ck that's all about. It seems like the type of thing you'd do if you're dueling someone with much less experience than you, so out of a sense of fair play you decide to give yourself a handicap. There's certainly no benefit to it: you have no reach, parrying would be really weak, you can't really block with it. If it was a regular sword you might be able to block "something" with the flat of the blade, but a lightsaber would go right through your arm. I guess if you're using two sabers and you're holding one in a normal grip, you'd have less of a chance for one to get in the way of the other, so there's that. I've heard people argue "well she uses the force, so it gives her more strength." That would be true, but whenever they're dueling someone with them it's always another force user, so it just negates that advantage.
This would be a great video and a lot shorter if you would simply stop repeating the same info over and over again. I heard and understood that the Jedi are arrogant and I didn’t have to hear the same thing 4 more times as well as other info multiple times. I have to admit I switch to something else after 20 minutiae of listening so I didn’t hear the rest. But reason why I switched is because of the info being so repeated
The geonosians were only loyal to their queen. No matter what deals they made with the sith they were only loyal to their queen. No matter the tortures the sith put them through they were only loyal to their queen.

(And your vid’s are amazing too 😂)

Grogu levitating the cookies...
Hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
another observation regarding the bettle of geonosis and beyond: droids exhibit no force energy, meaning no jedi could have seen or predicted the presence of the droid army that Dooku had at his disposal.
Vjun?
But yeah, Dxun... What is it with Mandalorians and that damned moon?
Rakata Prime
@@tysondennis1016 Lehon is Rakata Prime, it's the same planet, their homeworld.
@@Michael-kd1ho Oh. Thought that they were two different worlds.
Yoda and Yaddle interact with each other and work together in the High Republic book Cataclysm (def the high republic books but can’t remember if it’s cataclysm 100%)
You forgot all the scary monsters that lurk in Naboo’s subterranean seas
A space wizard did it, that's why.
Both the above comments are completely accurate
Who thinks Darth Bane could've soloed the arena fight? If I'm not mistaken (don't remember the form name) but he trained so hard in one form that a single drop of rain could hit him.
You are disregarding the fact that others might have trained as much or more than bane.
Love your content bro
Great show🎉

According to Legends lore all metal ore mined from Tatooine is also unusable, if you extract the metal and try to make something out of it it just corrodes away to nothing super fast, so for that reason it's my headcanon that whatever planet killer ordnance they used also destroyed the natural resources of the place while glassing the surface.
It was less effective than the life-eater virus though since people actually survived by just hiding in caves.
Great video!
Thank you for being the most wholesome Star Wars youtuber
That's literally Azathoth from HP Lovecraft you used for a Star Wars vid 😆
best compilation video ever
The most terrifying planets in Star Wars, in my opinion: Dathomir, Geonosis, Felucia, Umbara, Korriban (Moraband in Canon and Legends in Filoni's Clone Wars), Onderon, and Malachor V.
Byss is one you may have forgot, ziost and dromund kaas, and another lesser known dark planet, prakiss
Subbed! 😋
Great video
Yodas species being secretive indicates the dark side
Thumbnail looks super Lovecraftian.

What is that dark pulsing ambient music that is used? It's never listed but in a lot of your videos.
Love this video
Honestly I think the force wielder to fear the most is one who can use the dark and the light. Emotions fuel the dark. If you can do that without it turning into a runaway reaction, and maintain the focus and peace to hone the power, even simple powers become world shattering very quickly. It's not enough to just fuel power. You have to focus it and make it stronger. Unchecked power destroys indiscriminately. Focused power could very well make the Death Star, even the system busting variant, look like a child's toy. Like Vader famously said. It pales in comparison to the power of the force.
We don't know anything about Yoda or his species is because that's the way Lucus wants it.
Which is a shame.
The only thing I've been able to find about them is that there's one very obscure source I can't find anymore that called them Elves.
What is this 11:18 picture?
8:57 "the most talented force keeping knights in the galaxy" that women couldnt defend herself from an earth worm
The story of yadel, I've never heard of anyone, real or fiction, with that type of resilience and unnatural levels of forgiveness. Jesus christ is the only one I can think of who comes CLOSE. Granted he was, eh, real? In a way... you know what I mean.
Of course he was real.
Im just here for that thumbnail looks awsome
I found tatooine to be another place strangely the darkside destroyed the surface of the planet and its inhabitants that they never recovered remember the sand people being technologically advanced or the fact there was once seas even Ziost recovered which made it very interesting
Tatooine was literally glassed by Rakatan weapons after the ancestors of both the sand people and Jawa rebelled against them, and the sand is that glass after it's been broken down.
It's my headcanon that this event also is what rendered all metal ore on the planet unusable, probably due to some advanced dark side weapon.
@@Reddotzebra I read they actually did mining for phrik did you hear about that
40:43 The word is "wary", not "weary".
(And right after that you say "*is* some plant life", so you aren't even being consistent.)
It's like you want to use flowery language but don't quite know how. Train you must.
The most egregious one to me was when he said "cuh-lowsed" instead of calloused lmfao
Why is Azathoth the idiot God and great-grandfather of Cthulhu in the thumbnail?
IT SAYS TWO HOURS BUT IT’S ONLY 1:57 HOURS
Love it!
Not sure if the battle still counts as a defeat when Dooku had to retreat
he got away with the death star plans dude
Fun fact I created Mustafar back in 1963

They can’t be a light a dark side of something that is natural in all things✨☯️
They also fixed the glitch for ratatouille Expresso machine before it wouldn't appear in the restaurant
What if the reason Yoda doesn't want the world to know about his species is because they are naturally from the Dark Side?
Abeloth is truly the stuff of nightmares.
Korriban was made desolate after Tenebrae (Darth Vitiate) performed that ritual, right? Before that, I think Korriban was a more hospitable planet
Oh yeh, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan get zero help during the Phantom Menace, but 220 Jedi will run into a literal death pit just to save Anakin and obi wan?
what’s the outro music called when he’s showing the merch it’s fire !
It's pretty easy to see why this group of Jedi weren't very successful on Geonosis:
8:52 let's be honest, these idiots don't look like they've ever even held a sword before this moment.
1:13:55
Whoops, it's actually *six*
This would be a great video and a lot shorter if you would simply stop repeating the same info over and over again. I heard and understood that the Jedi are arrogant and I didn’t have to hear the same thing 4 more times as well as other info multiple times. I have to admit I switch to something else after 20 minutiae of listening so I didn’t hear the rest. But reason why I switched is because of the info being so repeated
The geonosians were only loyal to their queen. No matter what deals they made with the sith they were only loyal to their queen. No matter the tortures the sith put them through they were only loyal to their queen.
You said "thrusting" 😏 😂😂
Yoda probably spoke with yadle telepathically
