Maison Margiela for me their drydowns has a type of signature scent and so far I'm in love with this scent from the line, its so sweet and fresh! I got Rose off the bat and am very happy, and then the freshness starts coming out
It’s so interesting that we have different sensations. I get a very fuzzy/furry musky vibe from Bubble Bath and more of a cold breezy vibe from When the Rain Stops. I can see the link with the clean watery notes.
Thank you!! 💜 Yes! I have a 10 mL of By the Fireplace. It’s stunning and totally unisex. Have you tried Whispers in the Library? I sprung for a full bottle of that. Peppery vanilla with lemon furniture polish at the top. Weird and pretty.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK I’ll have to check out Library. Sounds like a good one. I’ve have several but other than Fireplace I really like Jazz Club. For vanilla scents though my most favorite is Atelier in Vanilla Insensee
very thorough review!! thank you so much! I’ve had my eye on this ever since it came out! smelled it at sephora today and definitely going to purchase the travel size with the 20% off coupon ☺️
I love this scent. its just.. so pleasantly warm. I dont like teenager fruity smells and cant stand the musky librarian that lives in chanel smell. This is great
Beth this one kinda freaked me out because I'm Irish, born in Dublin, and my name is Joanne Keating. 😲😳 By the way your Irish accent was awful 🤣 I too love more masculine type scents. I hate sickly sweet floral feminine scents so "When the rain stops" sounds like it might be a good one for me. I love your perfume reviews as you really do seem to have a 'nose' for it and I love the way you describe the scents like a connesieur.
😂😂😂 so that wasn’t you in the advertisement? I’ll keep working on my accent. I was lucky enough to visit Dublin long ago (1999) and I hope to get back and see more of Ireland. I have really liked this scent, but I haven’t sprung for the full bottle yet. 💗
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK - i looked it up on the UK Replica site and they don't have this one on there and I can't see any prices at all which is kind of weird.
This sounds wonderful Beth 💜 we finally have a Sephora 5 minutes away from where I live, will definitely go in and have a smell . I just bought a pack of Atelier samples to try from Sephora , they are very nice to wear. Thank you for reviewing this perfume 👩🏻🦳🥰
@@louisealain780 yes, I sure did. I love tea scents but I agree with you that it’s very subtle. It didn’t capture my heart. I already have Lemon Island, which is a full-blown love for me. I bought a bottle for myself for my birthday last summer and put a major dent in it.
I don't get earthy smells from this. It's a very fresh, crisp, cleansing, invigorating-yet-calming- at-the-same-time sort of smell. Even though it's about "after" the rain....it makes you think of water....like a light drizzle....like a carefree running through the drizzle or playing in the rain kind of feeling. I feel like most of the popular perfumes for women are those that are based on notes that are floral-powdery-musky-fruity-gourmand.......whereas When the Rain Stops is more of an....airy.....fresh, cleansing/clean....scent. It's not heavy and I think it can work nicely for a professional setting during spring, summer, etc. I love an overcast sky and rain, so the name alone caught my attention. I bought the travel size on the same day that I smelled it for the first time at Sephora.
Your description of this scent is so good! 💗💗 “Carefree” is definitely a good word to describe this scent. I have really loved this one, but it feels personal to me versus one that I want others to smell on me. I do smell some earthy note-but maybe what I mean is vegetal and green notes?

I’m glad you like it! It’s definitely a great freshie 🌈
Had to have it 😍 smells so clean I love it so much
It’s really so clean and fresh. I can see myself enjoying it a lot when it’s spring where I live.
I’m literally doing a wear test and I get replicas bubble bath vibes in the dry down which I love

By the Fireplace is my favorite Winter fragrance. Excited to sniff this one! You look lovely in lavender
Thank you!! 💜

You’re so welcome, Bean! I was very curious, too. Let me know what you end up thinking. 💙
What a great and detailed review!
Thank you! It’s a very interesting FRESH scent.
A Saturday video lol! Caught me by surprise, but great to see your notification lol.
I’m so chaotic! Honestly I thought it might be good to get this one out there since there’s some curiosity about it in the fraghead community.
This sounds really nice. I'm happy there's no eau d' wet basement. That was pretty funny.
😂 Eau D’basement has top notes of paper towels, middle notes of laundry soap and base notes of my dad’s record collection.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK 😄 🤣 😂, Evoking the Winter of 1972. It sounds like it would go perfectly with Lipstick.

I have to try this ASAP! My favorite is Bubble Bath! Ty
💜💟💜 Definitely try it! It’s fresher and more aromatic than Bubble Bath, which is so soft.

Yes!! I LOVE Atelier Cologne. I bought a sample pack too. You’ll have to tell me what you like. I’m partial to Vanille Insensee.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK awesome, I tried the Vanille Insensee this morning, really nice and fresh 😀
So fun! What else do you like?
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK today I tried the Oolang Infini, for some reason it hardly has any scent, very mild but clean scent. Did you try that one?

Irish Spring doesn't exist in Ireland and from watching the adverts the accents are terrible 😂
This doesn't surprise me at all! LOL
