in this video I will be doing short reviews of each fragrance from the Maison Margiela Replica line and will let you know which ones are full bottle worthy fragrances and which are not. I honestly appreciate that you make sure to clarify when a fragrance is masculine vs feminine leaning, in your opinion. So many people seem afraid to do that nowadays, but, as a woman who prefers lady-like perfumes, I am grateful that you are open about that aspect of fragrances.

There is literally no such thing as a "masculine" or "feminine" fragrance. It is all made up and restricting. They're just smells for fucks sake
I totally agree. It's just a descriptive tool but people are SO sensitive. I personally wouldn't wear a masculine scent so the description is so helpful for me.

The way you described jazz club.. with the young man who sits at the back, only goes to lounges, sticky booze on the floor from spilled drinks, a little bit of smoke - but only a little, from people who have gone out and come back in, and only high quality cigar smoke.. wow, I was mesmerized. That was a beautiful description, I felt I was in the scene. You have a gift.

Well, longevity is different on each skin, so someone else's opinion shouldn't really be much of an indicator to you 😉

I love that you are so brutally honest. I see other reviewers hyping awful fragrances up as if they are being paid to do so. Performance is important to me. A $135 bottle of cologne should last longer than 2 hours. I currently have full bottles of the Jazz Club and Autumn Vibes. Great video and thanks again!

I have By the Fireplace and im obsessed with it. Its not a girly girl scent and I love that. Its so different, I love the smoky sweet scent. It smells like you are sitting next to a bonfire roasting marshmallows and it makes me feel cozy and warm. In winter it really puts you in the holiday mood and in summer it takes me back to Christmas memories so for me its a year round scent. Definitely smell before buying because its not for everyone.

Coffee break is my absolute favorite cold morning scent, it’s so warm, cozy and invigorating at the same time. Love the mildly espresso note, maybe because I’ve been a barista for a dozen years. I also love beach walk during the summer and by the fireplace in the winter
I agree with you on By the fireplace. I wouldn't want my skin to smell like camp fire all day. I do love the scent but I feel like I would get the candle instead and I can smell it anytime I want. Thank you for such great reviews!!

I think the By the Fireplace scent is better as a candle than a perfume/ cologne bc it’s gives cozy & warm vibes. Also, I really love how you describe each scent with such vivid imagery :)

Its amazing how fragrances can smell so different depending on your chemistry. By The Fireplace smells amazing on me. It definitely has that smokey element, but on me it quickly becomes this warm, cozy, smokey, vanilla.

how long does it lasts? I smell sweetness there, like a marshmallows… never get what Yana said about the campfire smell, don’t even get a smokey scent. skeptical to get a full bottle… I’m confused 😅 i love 3-4 but it seems the performance and longevity is poor for the price tag

I absolutely love Bubble Bath, on paper I could smell the coconuts so much but on my skin the lavender came out.
The one I am looking forward to is the new matcha one. I saw Sebastian’s review and he enjoyed it. And I love tea scent. I can’t wait for it to arrive on Sephora in time for the spring sale!

I personally love the way laundry detergent smells as a kid I used to hang out by the washer in my house and detergent Isles bc I loved the smell so much so I’m definitely thinking of getting lazy Sunday morning
By the Fireplace lasts all day on me and I adore it. Coffee Break is also beautiful and becomes a soft and cozy skin scent within a couple hours. My two FAVES.
Bubble bath is amazing..its my favorite. Coffee break I love on my husband...not on myself. By the fireplace I love wearing in the winter months. Jazz club I find very masculine...my husband wears thst one as well 🥰

I love Replica fragrances! I am the proud owner of Tea Escape and Lazy Sunday Morning, both amazing fragrances in my opinion. I’ve been eyeing Lipstick On for the longest time, so I think I will pull the trigger during the upcoming Sephora sale and purchase it. I would also like to add Bubble Bath and Springtime in the Park to my collection as well. One that I am sad I never purchased when it was around was Music Festival; it’s very different from my normal scent profile but I really remember loving the sample I received when it was widely available. I do wish this one would come back so I could purchase it. Thank you for another amazing video! ❤️

Coffee Break is on my wishlist, I'll probably just get a purse spray though. I've had a couple samples of it and I really liked it. I also enjoyed Beach Walk and Springtime in a Park.
Music Festival sounds like the creator wanted to reminisce an awesome rave,but actually captured the hangover from the nxt day😂

I completely understand the feeling towards “By the Fireplace”. I have a full bottle of it but I really only enjoy the vanilla and caramel base notes. The burning wood is ok IMO but I do very much enjoy the scent as a whole.

Interesting… I have Jazz club and I find it one of my most long last perfumes. It is a very strong perfume and I find that it is one that you can’t spray too much of

I just tried to sniff jazz club and by fireplace at fragrance store few days ago. I never went to jazz club and never had fireplace camp 😊 So I don't know how they smell. But I love the scents of both. fragrances. Very unique to my nose. But what makes me hesitate to buy full bottle is because many review including yours say that MM Replica has low performance 😊
Since you prefer jazz club for men, I think I will put it on the top list of MM Replica to buy 😊
About the bubble bath and coffee break, is there any designer fragrances that resembles it's scents or notes? Or they are very unique?

Love this video! I just ordered samples of Bubble bath and Lazy Sunday morning. I had sprayed at the shop bubble bath and went on all evening thinking "oh my god it smells so nice!!"

Love and own By the Fireplace for a Winter scent and am seriously considering Beach Walk to take on my holiday to Greece later this year to wear as a daily scent. So right about the capless 100ml bottle not being travel friendly though, I didn't think of that. So I started pulling off caps from my other perfume bottles to find a match and found JHAG lids are a perfect fit!
I want all of them. I love how those bottles look and the scents are tasteful

I L💖VE the MM Replica line ... I was on to them very early and I own quite a bit in this line, I love the ‘Place in Time’ marketing and the packaging is spot on. There will always be hit and misses in most lines but I think overall they’ve nailed it... totally enjoyed your video!
It’s funny as I love BTF but I don’t connect it with being by a camp fire... rather cold winter walks in 🇨🇦 at night when people have their wood burning fireplace going!

Beach Walk (×4 100 ml, i'm a big fan), Lazy Sunday Morning (×2 30ml), Flower Market (30 ml), By a Fireplace (×1 30 ml and ×1 100 ml) , Jazz club (×1 30 ml) and Sailing day (×1 30ml). Soon Coffee break!

I love By the Fireplace, convinced my friend to buy it as well after she got to try it. Absolutely love the smokiness and the sophisticated sweetness. Whispers in a Library is a nice fragrance that reminds my of something my mom had ages ago, brings out memories and it's pleasant, but I wouldn't say it's so remarkable. AND I just got Under the Lemon Trees and I absolutely adore it. The first notes are pure citrus, but I actually like it a lot more after like 10 minutes. It smells more like dry citrus peel and baking, wood, but it's still fresh in a way that fresh air is fresh. I love all things citrus when it comes to food and this really hit the spot. I'm still on the look out for a cool fragrance that merries the smells in Pasta al Limone lol - citrus, pepper, muskiness from the parmiggiano. Too weird?

Beach Walk is everything as she describes. Smelling my wrists now. Eyes rolling back in my head. It takes me back to childhood living in Florida and the smell of perfume on top of sunscreen on everyone. It smells like a slow classy beach vacation.

I love Spring time in the Park and By the Fireplace. Runner ups are Whispers in the Library and Bubble Bath. Those 2 are my daughter's favorite. Still hoping to smell Coffee Break.
I purchased Beach walk in the last winter and I did not enjoy it at first. But guess what, I tried it again in spring and guys, I love love it soo much now. It is so summery and beachy . I received a lot of compliments from my colleagues whenever I wear it on a sunny day.
I just got it! And am about to return it! I’ve NEVER done this for a fragrance it smells so old lady like on me I hate it! Should I wait it out lol
While I wouldn't call any Replica (but fireplace) a beast mode, I do get a lot better from Whispers in a Library. Just like Coffee Break it's a pretty subtle fragrance and I find either of them easy to not notice after a while. They're just too cozy and comfy. Moving stuff, or just doing something tends to break that. The vanilla in Whispers is gorgeous. And Jazz Club's awesome.
Nice reviews! I actually have a bottle of Whispers in the Library and its so strong and lasts all day! I get so many compliments. I wonder if the samples aren't as strong as the actual fragrance ? I even ordered a backup because I love it so much. Its a very warm vanilla wood dry down ♥️

I smelt Coffee break this week and I got sucked in by the coffee and lavender, love it. I own and love By the Fireplace. I like Jazz Club a lot and would love to smell it on my husband.
Can you do a video pointing out dupes that are better (last longer, etc) like what smells like “At the Barber’s” but is better than the Replica version ?

Dossier has a dupe imitation of Beach Walk called Aquatic Coconut which I plan on getting to layer with an imitation of Tom Ford Soliel Blanc that I own. Also Bath & Body Works has a scent called Bonfire Bash, IDK if it smells anything like By The Fireplace but it’s still the same concept for a cheaper price.

I have and love By The Fireplace: it's my "when it's snowing" scent, and I get to wear it a LOT in Northern Ontario. I have to agree that it does smell like I've been sitting by a fire, and I love it anyway! We live on a lake in the country, too, so fires are a part of my summer, but not winter... until the wood-fired pizza oven gets put in! I'm interested in Coffee Break - I keep putting it in my cart, and then I keep just not buying it. :(. I, too, spend a lot of my time in the tub, but to be honest, I haven't been tempted by the Bubble Bath one. Yet. I don't know why. Jazz Club intrigues me, but I think I smelled it once and it's a bit more masculine than I enjoy. I have to agree that performance on these isn't stellar, but I'm willing to ignore that because their scents tell such wonderful stories. I super enjoy watching your videos, whether we agree on a scent or not. I think I've been using "hatest," and I hope you don't mind...I always credit you for it. I loved this video. You look mahvelous, dahling!
I love By the Fireplace too. I get more of the sweet marshmallow than smoke. I get compliments on it all the time. I actually have a clone as well that is smokier and I love both. It’s always interesting what comes through on different people.
I love it too. It reminds me of my favorite candle Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Fireside. So unique.

I know what you mean about not being tempted by Bubble Bath, it is very soapy and there are other soapy scents that I prefer. Jazz Club is definitely more masculine, but I see a lot of women enjoying it too. I personally do prefer it on men though.
The Sephora sale is coming soon I think, so might as well wait for that to pick up the Coffee Break 😊
Definitely agree about At the Barbers. A rather plain yet penetrating lavender, almost like the a pair of steel scissors. Not my favourite barbershop scent, but relentless performance on me. Big fan of Whispers in the Library! Love that effect at 17:59 btw 😂 The "man trance." Followed by, "what was that dear?" 🤣
😂 Yeah I got so confused about what I was saying, I didn't want to cut it all out because it was sort of funny... But I was like 🤔 "what am I even saying here?"

By the Fireplace and Jazz Club were too candle-like for me but then I found DUA's Jazz By the Fireplace and the blending of the two was just magical. The only one I've tried that I'd buy a full bottle of is Under the Lemon Trees, though I haven't tried Lipstick On and that seems to have a lot of fans! :-)
I absolutely love so many from this house. I love Coffee house, Jazz club, fireplace, beach walk and my most recent Under the Lemon tree… which is great on its own or layered… especially with beach walk. The only one I purchased and was not a fan of was Lazy Sunday Morning… very generic and smells outdated to me..
I'm with you on By the Fireplace... I fell for the hype and bought a large sample at Sephora for $30 and have only worn it twice in 4 yrs now!! Its no different than a fire in the backyard.. Maybe they should havee called it by the camp fire instead, lol.. Its too strong and smokey.. I'll probably never use it again..

I wore By the Fireplace all winter. I needed warm and cozy this winter. I’m in love with Beach Walk. Just ordered a full bottle and I own Lazy Sunday morning. I got a sample of the coffee one and loved it. Here is my question? I love At the Barbers but I have no knowledge of what would smell as good with more longevity?? If so appreciate some suggestions! Laughing at your review of By the Fireplace. Guess it’s not your thing lol.
