    This is why I like to watch your videos. You are really authentic and of course a great guitar player.

      I'm old school too. I'm hooked on watching Euge's reviews because he is such a great player and very informative even if I'm not really interested in the equipment. But this is cool especially, as Euge said, for the studio.

    Freakin awesome man! I must confess I already knew everything in advance, since I'm heading to have a 4x4 switcher from either KHE, Ampete or De Lisle. But let's see if Euge has to tell something about his KHE... Indeed he has. Great video like usual and somewhat funny as well 😅👍👍👍

    Thank you soooo much for making this video. I was looking for a way to switch between tube amps and cabs in my studio, and this is perfect! Can even sync midi timecode out to it to switch on the fly when reamping from the DAW, or go pedal route.. amazing. Markus at KHE was awesome to work with, ended up getting the 8/4 amp cab switcher model!

    I agree, this looks like a fantastic product, im all in for the 4+4+4 unit..(4 amps, 4 cabs, 4 effect loops) kind of a middle of the road application...and I really like the fact you can use one power attenuator across all amps.

    Gotta love it, Brohiem. Man, that late 80's JCM is really it's own thing and kinda unfair - referring to the anomolies with this amp you covered several videos ago. It's like a "one off" lol. The 5150 is also very unique and I'm sure you love having it around for just what it does. Another crayon in the box for sure! \m/ \m/

    Cool. I've been looking at amp switchers and the top two companies were KHE and Kahayan. Only thing that makes KHE less attractive for me is that they're made outside EU so taxes and customs are added. Also 8 channels wouldn't be enough in the long run so maybe I'll save my money for now and just switch them manually like a neanderthal =)

    Is it possible to run two amps simultaneously? Like say you want to experiment with stereo rigs, could you get the 1984 Bad Boy and the 5150 to run at the same time? Or is it solely one amp at a time?

  • @triclops8
    @triclops8 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hello Euge, I have one unrelated question please, how important would you say is your ISP Decimator in your signal chain when you make your guitar recordings? Is it "just" making the process more comfortable dealing with no noise but otherwise the noise in the "silent" parts would be cut out when mixing anyways or does it make the sound itself better too by killing some unwanted stuff out of it? Boiling it down to, would you recommend getting one of those noise killer pedals for doing good recordings? (I am using a very similar signal chain as you, SD1->old 2203->Suhr RL IR-> Bogrens IR´s ;) ) Your opinion would be very appreciated, thanks! :)

    • @EugeValovirta230V
      @EugeValovirta230V  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi,
      It’s just to get rid of the small his that the SD-1 (or any od) produces and have zero impact on the sound itself. I use it live, in the studio and well basically always. I also have a BOSS NS-2 (on my small board) and Fortin Zuul (on my main live board) and they do the job also really well. Live those are really good since the electricity on some venues is sometimes really noisy and those cut out pretty much that hum too.
      And it’s handy also that there’s no need to edit guitars when recording & mixing; just rawk n roll from beginning to end and that’s it 👌😎.
