I have the de Lisle Amp-Speaker Selector 8×8 Deluxe. Man is it awesome to have all your amps and cabs hooked up at once. I have the fryette powerstation in the attenuator loop and use the powerstation's effects loop instead of the the effects loops on the amps. Make sure you have enough extra cables when you get a switcher because it will take every extra cable you have to hook everything up.
Mate! Great timing! I picked up an 8x4 KHE. It’s just landed in my home country for customs clearance now. Adding a Fryette PS-100 to that. Awesome demo man. Hope the Bandlander is ok 😱
This is my dream setup lol going to be a game changer for amp/cab comparisons in the future. Im looking into pairing up my Peavey 6505 and Orange dark terror in stereo but haven't pulled the trigger on the Bigshot ABY box just yet. R.I.P Badlander 💀 hope it's just a bad tube!
How sweet to be able to play all your gear and being able to wrote songs switching amp, cab, and effects like that. Also testing out what head sounds best with what cab?
Awesome video! Glad you are onboard with these. I love them. Yes you can link multiple units together but make sure to contact Markus at KHE to get the correct information and equipment needed to link them. He is awesome with coroner service. If anyone else uses the 4cm method for using a helix or other device, Markus also has pdf diagrams for connecting everything together.
In the lands of the 230v/16a outlets you can plug up to 3.6kW into one fuse protectet outlet. 200-400w for one amp at the cable ... so 9-18 should work 😇
I wish they'd make a 10x6.. Or even a 12x4. 8x8 is a lot of cabs. I almost bought one a while ago, but I need the fx loop, an 4x4 isn't enough. I'd have to buy 2 units. Decisions decisions! 😂
Question for more experienced folk with amps and switchers; do you know of any amp/cab switchers that can switch between two stereo amps and each amp has a Left and Right output running to a left and right cabs? My Matrix stereo poweramp sends left b channel to my left cab and right a channel to my right cab. I want to switch between this poweramp and my stereo Fryette LX2 poweramp left and right channels to them same cabs. I think I might be fkd:( any input greatly appreciated
Yup, way more of a difference in tone between cabs than the heads. I used to own 1 cab and 10 heads!!! I now own 8 cabs and 8 heads. I also have the KhE 4X4 but with the FX loop option. Seriously one of the better gear purchases of my life!!!!
Yeah man! Night and day difference from the I to the II. I'm REALLY digging the II, a lot like the EVH but a bit different in the mids with more options
I would never trust something that disconnects and switches cabs and amps. People who use these all the time better be ready to fork out the cash for new OT's and possibly power tubes on their amps when they decide to play loud and this thing malfunctions..... Probably why your Badlander died....
Nope! Bad power tube. The switcher has internal loads for each amp when not in use. Don't you think these companies thought this out before staking their entire business on it?
I agree about the possibility of malfunction and/or user error f*cking something up...but music stores (at least some that I've visited) use these types of switchers and have been using and trusting for years at the risk of their own inventory. But yea...nothing is perfect and with anything electronic ...malfunctions can and will happen, but that's the risks we are willing to take.
These things are an absolute MUST for anyone who uses multiple amps and cabs

Any old BOSS stereo pedal will do the same thing--chorus, delay, etc.!
i have the bigshot ABY...its awesome!!! play a mesa mark IV and a EVH 50W stealth in stereo, can't beat it!!! cheers brother!!!
Don't think I have ever seen you look so happy!!
Man, it was definitely a day marked on the calender.
Dude thanks for the constant posting of quality content.
Of course man! Glad you feel it's good quality!

Awesome video of an amp switcher!!! I was laughing and grinning the first time I used my delisle 3x3 and still am!
Thanks my man! The Delisle stuff looks great as well!

I’d be all in if they made the 4amp/2cab option with an FX loop
He said they do.
@@DreidMusicalX from what I saw on their site, the 4amp/2cab doesn’t have an fx loop
FAQn Friday question: have you researched how many amps can be powered up from one outlet at a time?
In the lands of the 230v/16a outlets you can plug up to 3.6kW into one fuse protectet outlet.
200-400w for one amp at the cable ... so 9-18 should work 😇
Before i get tha Switcher. I must get tha amps!
Love my amp switcher, it’s a world changer for gear hounds! Great video brother! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Thanks Joey!

Keep us posted on the badlander plz. Love the khe and didn't realize it could integrate an attenuator. Nice
Awesome feature, right?!
That’s way too much fun 😱🤣 I need one so bad

So cool getting to hear these 4 awesome amps through 4 different cabs. The Powerball II sounds amazing! Go Kyle!!🤘
Thsi was fun for sure! Glad you enjoyed it!
So these units can only be bought directly from Sweden?
If you hook up 2 of them,
is it in parallel?😎🎸🔊🤘
Sounds awesome man
Thanks!
Someone’s having fun!! Probably need a larger switcher. Let me know I could use the smaller one!!
Way too much fun! Haha, I'll hang onto this one regardless if i grab a bigger one, sorry dude! Too many amps and cabs, haha
@@belligerentamateur I know bud
Post power bill before and after
Power bill before: Amps. Power bill after: Amps.
If I had that many worthwhile amps and cabs it would so be worth it.
Very cool. Good shitt.
I really liked cab 1 and 4 together. Anyone else think the cabs make more difference than the amps?

Seems like you had a little mishap at 7:29. You said Badlander was #1 yet you still had the stealth there. 😆
Killer! The powerball is surprisingly awesome. Didn’t you say the old ones were way over compressed?
Yeah man! Night and day difference from the I to the II. I'm REALLY digging the II, a lot like the EVH but a bit different in the mids with more options
@@belligerentamateur would be curious to hear it against a Savage
Does every amp and cab have to be the same ohms? What if you have 8ohm and 16ohm cabs?
I was thinking the same thing
Everything theoretically should be the same to keep it safe.
I wish the KHE amp switcher was capable of stereo amp setups.
Would be cool, for sure. I wonder if it's even possible?
Well I guess if you had one amp and cab out of the switcher and a bunch within you could see which blend with that particular amp.
you can custom order a stereo switcher from kruse, but it will be a single unit. difficult to make an expandable system with stereo
Sounds like lots of ohm matching
Dude what happened to the badlander?
Power tube pooped out and took out the mains fuse.
The moment you ran duel mode sold me. I had no idea it did that
YES! I didn't either until I got it. So useful and a lot of fun to mess with
you probably need x2 8 channels KHE switchers lol!
Way more than that dude. Hahah
You wont be able to just play one amp anymore.
Also I can confirm that is a guitar players dream
Thanks for clearing that up!

Never even heard of dedicated amp switchers damaging gear

@@CS-ru4xd right, this could literally be said about anything. The amp itself, the speakers, jacks, guitar electronics. Etc.
they are safe enough not to worry about
As a bassist, I couldn't hear a single difference between the amps.
No need to waste money on such minute details.
LOL
