With all the movies and shows that have been rebooted, I really wish they would reboot this one. It was an awesome show. Today's CGI would make it even better. Doubt it will ever happen though.
Speaking of which both Jurassic park & avatar have had video game adaptations I see the same potential possibility for Terra Nova as an open world survival IP about settlers from the future trying & struggling to start over in the cretaceous error

Man they need to sell this show to another tv company and bring it back from the dead. Cuz this show was Fuckin Awesome. I hated that they cancel all the great shows for dumb ass shows that never lasted. This show coulda been great.
This could be a theory that somehow in the past or futur , somehow , a rift opened between the futur earth and the old earth linking them together. Considering that the solar system itself move into space it's hard to understand how two earth similar in essence but in two different location , solar system being always in movement while the galaxy itself move aswell while everything else move , we never occupy the same location in space twice so given this understanding how could this be in theory possible to open a rift accross space , distance and time connecting two point ? One would first need some sort of ship I suppose in case of the arrival point being in space itself or between two galaxy. Because let's say you can manipulate the time location itself but the coordinate stay the same. You would find yourself in another area of space suddenly because everything else would have moved at a different location relative two you
Like trying to go from A to Z but always finding new challenge limiting the progression permitting us to reach Z but slowly making progress in the spiralling stair of evolution. From the ground up but along the line I believe we lose and further along the line I believe that the mechanical that might or might not replace us but kinda sure they will based on the Solid State Intelligence description time line will face in the futur what may be currently growing within the planet and influencing our evolutionary path. I believe we are stuck at the Omega point in this chain of evolution for our specie and that something from the futur and the past are converging somehow together in an attempt to help us pass the great filter event as a specie. This seem to be the only meaning I find between all the interconnectedness I seen and the pattern that seem to emerge.
Two side of humanity are being depicted fighting each other in the past and they could represent the two face of humanity that had emerge and came to be known as Atlantis and Mu fighting each other in the past. Maybe the answer lie in convincing among the watcher the order that could be responsible for this division in the past to unite together instead of fighting. All I know is that the past seem to influence the past and the futur and that some sort of game is being played as of now in the world and depending on who win the entire futur will go one way or the other.

In the show bible it literally said they wanted to bring avatar to TV like how battlestar galactica did for Star Wars
