Best stage win and performance of all time by Froome here. Disagree all you like. This Froome is the GOAT - descends and climbs. No chance!!
Amazing ride, holy god
Gosh !! Chris Froome went up that mountain like an express train, as if he was on rocket fuel. Hmm.....
I want to feel the same high he gets when his turbo starts. just amazing
what the f... I still cant believe what I just watched LOL, omg wtf a lot of action..
Almost forgot to watch this today.
Go for this tactic today Pog in TDF!! Nowt to lose.Your still the MAIN MAN!!!
Amazing stage!
I love how froomes been cleared but people still complain because they don't support him.
Nibali made up similar time at the end of the 2016. Thee difference in this race was that several of the contenders didn't lose 5 minutes they lost 30 minutes.
That was what happened when Simon Yates didn't keep a bl**dy lid on it! Second time's the charm! 🏁🚲
so happy that not all of the comments here are "dope"
INCREDIBLE!
Froome's asthma didn't bother him today : he must have had a few big puffs
on his powerful steroid inhaler.
vinm300 Are you boot?
Sorin, I'm only repeating Froome's own words ,"Chris Froome took several puffs on his inhaler to avoid coughing ".
If you think it sounds implausible that's your problem.
AMAZING!
Chapeau!
Charlton Kirby brilliant commentary 👍👍👍👍👍👍 the voice of cycling 🚴♀️ 🙏🙏🙏
I can't believe people are disrespecting this man already. People do really forget you once you're past prime
What a cheater, Chris "Fraud" Froome...😂
Speriamo torni così l'anno prossimo 💪🏻🤞🏻
Fantastico superman Froome
Epic, love watching it again !.
My good! Great froome amazing 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️
I guess questions will asked about Froome's performance on that stage. He literally just destroyed the competition on that attack.
Seeing everyone just struggling on that climb and then froome just lights up his high cadence afterburners.
It's a team sport and Sky are the strongest team and Froome is able to capitalise on their strength like no other rider could!
What competition? Froome is a world class rider up against a bunch of second rate riders.
Dumoulin is the only one who can even slightly challenge him, but he can't really because Froome is basically a superior version of him and of course you'd lose to a superior version of yourself.
Amazing to watch, as it has was described by the commentators. He just moved through the gears and pulled away, when everyone else just folded. Looks fresh in the post interviews as well, I think he might win it
Look like team sky putting a good teamwork, froome probably conserving a strength for this stage win, think this is team sky race tactics.
he has the best prescription drugs..
Well, I've watched many of "Froome epic moments" and they all look the same ; weird, so effortless, faster then possible.
How is he even capable of getting away of 30 meters in a few seconds from the best cyclist in the world ? 1:06 is impossible
Cheat, pure cheat...motorbike...
Simplesmente uma das mais loucas aventuras de um ciclista. Estava a mais de 3 minutos do 1.º. Ou seja, ou arriscava e perdia ou ganhava tudo. Neste caso Ganhou tudo...
What a performance.
If that was Armstrong we all would be laughing and saying no way.
No need for the question mark in the title. It IS the greatest comeback ever, end of.
And the beeb still don't recognise true talent. One of only 3 people to hold all 3 grand tours at the same time. Shame on the BBC for not giving him Sports Personality 2018. Geraint Thomas won for TdeF victory but not even getting a mention is , quite frankly disgustingly hypocritical.
And they gave the award to Farah a few years ago , a man with lots of dirt on him. But we cannot pick on him for various reasons..
Even though Dumoulin was the only top-tier opponent, Chris Froome has cemented his place in history today.
somersetfan1 What Floyd Landis did in collaboration with his doctors in the 2006 TdF was equally impressive. I'm really impressed what the doctors can achieve these days.
doping? I dont think so, It's very hard to win Tour and Giro, becouse the second is very different way to run
Simple answer is Yes!
What's the gear ratio Froome is riding at, with such a high cadence? Or is he just going fast uphill?
I believe he was using a compact..34/50 with 12 /28 on the back...theres a vid somewhere on YT with Lance Armstrong on this very subject
Legendary
Yet again, no knighthood for Britains greatest rider. Stinks.
trek rider show his power av 300 watts but finished after froome 45 minute
Question is How much watt on chris froome produce on stage 19 ?
1,000 watts av on stage 19 ???????
That moment when the best GC rider in the world makes the most important attack of the whole Giro, and the TV director decides to focus on a bunch of dropped riders instead 🤦🏻♂️
PS I know it’s not Eurosport’s fault as they don’t control the feed- but could someone have a word as it happens all the time!
CFroome oval chainrings rules ;)
