    Glycolic acid is an AHA whereas salicylic acid is a BHA. The Paula’s choice would actually be less gentle. Just because it’s a lower percentage doesn’t mean it’s gentler. The highest legal concentration for salicylic acid in a product is 2% because it’s so harsh whereas the highest percentage for an AHA in a product is 20%.

    I lost it at ‘A long periolodically time’ 🤣🤣
    Great video! I’ve been using the Paula’s choice for about a year now and I absolutely love it!
    Btw the small size actually lasts a really long time if you’re not using it everyday.
    Like you said, once your skin clears, I’d even use it once a week and that’s enough.

      😂🤣 that’s the only way to say something takes a long time…. I refuse to say anything else! LOL and yes I love it and you’re absolutely right the bottle will last you forever!

    Thank you ❤️ I absolutely loved watching this. You have such dope energy 😊. I've been using Paula's Choice for the past 4 months. And yes it did great helping get rid of the black heads and break outs. But my skin though healthy has still been textured. I love your review of TO's Glycolic acid with regard to texture. I think it's gonna be my next buy once my BHA is done.
    Thanks again for this:))

      Thank you!!!! Yesss the BHA is a game changer I saw the difference the next day immediately. It’s crazy because I used the GA for so long I think my skin needed a break from it.

    Paulas BHA 2% is amazing. Real talk. It deserves all the hype it gets. I use ordinary glycolic acid 1-2 times per. Week and I use BHA on days I don’t use glycolic

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The glycolic from the ordinary is gentle enough for everyday use, the BHA is good to use a few time a week. I would stick with the ordinary for a month or so allow your skin to get use to glycolic acid then switch to the BHA

    Can we use both Ordinary glycolic acid and Paula's choice. If yes then how to use both

    • @valeriaherrera04
      @valeriaherrera04 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No because if you do it you would’ve over exfoliated your skin. Use one of them because both are for exfoliate the skin. If you have a moisturizer, apply it after use Paula’s choice bha/glycolic acid

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly, there would be no need to use both. You would add only one of them to your skincare routine. You have to figure out what you want to get out of your routine. Are you new to exfoliating and you only want a light exfoliation? If so, the ordinary. If you want something a little stronger and to help with texture then go for Paula’s choice!

    Thank you for your video. I started using Paula’s choice my face looked beautiful my niece kept asking what I was doing?? THEN! I started getting bumps n spots over my face. Don’t know if I was purging or breaking out but wasn’t going to wait to find out! I stopped using it 😔

      Oh no! I don’t believe it is. It’s suppose to help with texture! You might have been allergic to something, it’s good you stopped using it. Did you atleast get to return it?! I hope so!

    • @diamondsaint

      It’s easy to use and I found that it really helps with the texture of your skin! It’s gentle enough to use daily but I would suggest using it only a few days a week just to give your skin a break.

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You have to find a product that helps with texture! Most of the time the size of your pores are genetic! 😩 but salicylic acid based products may help also exfoliating and have you looked into biopelle Stem Cell Cream? Check out the reviews on that it’s great for mature skin.

    Hii! So I think I’m going to get the Paula’s choice because I have been using the ordinary and I realized after this video that it’s not going to help my problem areas. I mostly struggle with hyperpigmentation and the ordinary hasn’t been making any changes to my skin after I’ve been using it for a couple of months. I’m going to buy the small one first like you did and if it does me good then I’ll get the big one too. 🥰🤞🏾

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh yess! Keep in mind these products are mostly for helping with texture on the skin. Good choice with getting the small bottle first just to give it a try. I think you’ll like the Paula’s choice better than the ordinary. now… the hyperpigmentation exfoliating is GREAT to get rid of old skin and help bring in the new but have you tried skin cycling? I’m going to do a video on that next and my skin care routines next.

      Texture you want to make sure you exfoliate for sure so the glycolic acid would be a good start. dehydrated/dry skin you want to make sure you’re using a hydrating face wash and super moisturizing face cream.
