I consulted an aesthetician last year and she recommended a lot of products which I didn’t buy and some of them are what you’re using
can i use cocoa butter after applying the original tonner
You should use a either a niacinamide serum or a hyaluronic acid serum then go in with a gentle moisturizer. You can also use the cocoa butter if it doesn’t clog your pores

@@Ayaal466 After your face wash, wait till your skin is completely dry, then apply on your skin while it’s dry, wait for 15 minutes, then you can go in with an essence, serum and moisturizer. Do not wash it off, it’s a leave-on product

It’s completely normal if it doesn’t sting you, as long as you’re seeing required changes.

Moisturiser and sunscreen
If you have a problem free skin, you can add antioxidants, glutathione, vitamin c or niacinamide
In place of the cosrx mucin, can we use tiam b3 serum? And in place of the simple moisturiser, can we use the cosrx snail mucin that comes in a cup?

@@monicaadoyi2675 From your comment, it seems you have oily & textured skin with melasma pigmentation. I suggest you incorporate salicylic acid, niacinamide and azelaic acid to your routine, these will help treat your skin problems in above order

Hi, you need to incorporate Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid, Collagen peptide and Retinol (or Tretinoin) to your routine, they’ll help restore the your skin’s elasticity and reverse aging. But if you choose to use Tretinoin instead of Retinol, you will have to consult a professional, or you can start with Retinol first and then consult a professional when you’re ready to start using Tretinoin.

Please can i use mix a bit of this toner with a lotion that contains vitamin c on my palm and rub on my back cos i have dark spots on my back. Hi friend, don’t mix glycolic acid with vitamin C, you can use the vitamin C lotion in the morning and use the glycolic acid toner at night with a regular body lotion with no actives like Nivea, use 3 times a week. Don’t mix the entire glycolic acid into your lotion.

Yes you can, you can apply it with a cotton pad after your shower or mix a bit of it with your regular body lotion and apply (don’t mix the entire product into your body lotion)

And omg I was doing it wrong I would put on moisturizer after five minutes of it staying on my face 😭
Glycolic acid boosts hydration instead, but you should still apply a moisturizer at least 2 minutes after application

No, don’t use it with salicylic acid in the same day or routine, give one or two nights apart depending on how well your skin tolerates both actives

You start by using it once a week to see how well your sensitive skin tolerates it, then increase to twice, but you shouldn’t use it with a scrub, it will damage your skin and it does the same thing the scrub does, even better, you can use the scrub on your body

It’s not supposed to, except you’re over using it, or not applying and reapplying your sunscreen during the day , it will definitely cause your skin to be inflamed and produce pigments. Also check how well you’re using it with other actives.
Does it have fragrance? I got one recently, and it has a citrus scent.
No it doesn’t have a citrus scent, it has an earthy smell, almost like it has no fragrance.

Hi Ijay, good afternoon, so my face is actually how your face was before u cleared it. I even went for facials last year March and I’ve not recovered from that. My face is very oily, breakouts here and there and I’ve been using a lot of products recommended by these people and I’m tired cos it keeps coming back and I keep breaking out more plus my body is acne prone. Please can I use the exact products that you’re using cos currently I’m using panoxyl 10% facial cleanser, zapzyt acne gel, tretinoin and simple moisturizer. But what I noticed is that my skin is now more sensitive. Please help me thank you
As someone who’s new, Using all that at once will overwhelm your skin and compromise your skin barrier making your skin more sensitive. Start with one treatment to minimize and control your acne breakouts (Salicylic acid), when you’ve achieved that, then you can slowly add other treatments like benzoyl peroxide or and glycolic acid to your routine, then gradually advance to tretinoin (if recommended by your specialist).

@@Stellaordu No, leave the tretinoin for now. Use a gentle face wash, toner, vitamin c, moisturizer and spf in the mornings, then panoxyl cleanser, toner, hyaluronic acid serum, and moisturizer at night. You can use the zapzyt acne gel to spot treat any active acne.
