As a Rocker, is there a band that I'm unlikely to have heard of? Or is there a song that's under the radar from a big band??
You're not into rock? - no problem give me a group from Hip/Hop, RnB, Rap , pop etc.
I love learning about new bands and different types of music. I Cant wait to hear from you all.
Join me on this musical journey! Much love,
Michael Azimov 🎶

Prince is so much more than the commercial stuff you hear on the radio. If you love this, check him out live in any concert. No one performed like the purple one.💜☔️
Just watched this with my hubby. I was never a great Prince fan but I was amazed at how he played the guitar. Never realized he was such a fantastic guitar player 💕
My hubby is a huge Stevie Ray Vaughan fan. When we met 30 years ago, I introduced him to Prince, and he introduced SRV to me. Two men who were born with a guitar in their hands! RIP to both. Gone way too soon.
Go down that Rabbit hole... He's a Guitar god😊
stevie prince and jimi are the trifecta of guitar heroes. IMO...sorry eddie.@@revgurley
Prince was a musical GENIUS!
I appreciate your honesty but I'm really trying to understand how it's possible people didn't know Prince's guitar 🤷 The man had been playing spectacular guitar since the 70s
Prince is amazing 💜 He taught himself to play over 20 instruments and is a guitar God. I was lucky enough to see him live over 20 times. If you want to react to another Prince video check out Let's Go Crazy next. It's more guitar shred and a fun rock/funk video
20 Instruments! that's Amazing - obv i had heard of Price before but never really listened to his stuff - and i didn't realise just how talented he was!!!!
I've added this song to my list! - Thank you :-)
Excellent reaction!! Dhani Harrison is George's son...and a perfect clone of his dad!!! R.I.P. George!!🎶🎼🎵🎹🎤🎸🎧🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘
Thank you :-)
Wonderful Artist playing Together . Absolutely Wonderful !!! 💗✨🙏✨💗💯
THIS IS NO ORDINARY COVER: It's an extraordinary tribute to the late George Harrison. This will NEVER been repeated.
Prince definitely makes this performance. He has so much charisma not only in his performance but also in his sound alone. 😂😂 Here are a few other Prince performances that are also just a lot of fun to watch:
2005 NAACP Performance - it’s definitely worth it to watch the full 16-minute video with the award presentation to learn more about him as an artist
It’s Gonna Be a Beautiful Night
All the Critics Love U in Montreux
Cream/Well Done/Hit U in the Socket live at Glam Slam in 92 - Also, the 1999/Baby I’m a Star/Push medley from this show is also super hype. And the performance of Insatiable from this show is a good example of a ballad.
Start there and get back to me. 😂😂😂
Amazing thank you - ive added them all to my list :-)
Don't forget the Superbowl Halftime Show.
Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" is a must listen to
Prince is My FOREVER LOVE 💜💜💜💜💜
Check out Prince's performance of "Empty Room" at the Montreaux Jazz Festival.
His Live At Montreux sets are killer
PRINCE live performances to enjoy - Motherless Child Live, Fury SNL Live, Play That Funky Music Live, Peach Live, The Everlasting Now Jay Leno, Guitar Jay Leno, or EndorphMachine Live are a good time.
Amazing .. thank you :-)
Ive added all these songs to my list
Purple rain live in Syracuse 86, Joy in Repetition live aftershow in NYC
Most don't know what a great Guitar player Prince was
no! i never knew he could! simply amazing!
@@Azimov-REACTS most will say he's a top 5 guitarist of all-time. Some will say there was none better. I lean toward the latter. His Superbowl half-time show is the stuff only a legend can pull off.
His fans knew!
Here are some good Prince videos to search for. Prince live playing a cover of Radioheads's "Creep" at Coachella, Prince live at the Superbowl, Prince playing "Play That Funky Music" at an encore at one of his shows.
Amazing thank you, ive added them all onto my list
Joy in Repetition the "after show". Live
This was Prince's proof that he should've been named in the Top 100 guitarists of all time (he wasn't). The song was a Beatles classic. George Harrison had already passed away when this induction ceremony happened, so they played one of his songs, with his son in the background. Also included are the amazing Jeff Lynn of ELO, Steve Winwood on piano, Tom Petty on vocals as well. And then Prince made his statement. Love the look on Prince's face when he turns to Tom like, "you want more? I got more!" That guitar he tossed at the end is in Heaven with him. RIP Prince, Tom Petty.
The Prince rabbit hole is long. As a fan since 1979, I find it interesting to start at the beginning (listen to For You - it's just his voice singing the parts. That was his first song. Astounding at age 19.) Of course there's Purple Rain - any song off there is a winner. Ditto that for Sign O' The Times. Starting with earlier stuff, and working your way forward in time, you can hear the new sounds he was getting out of his equipment, and can almost note when a song on an album doesn't match any others - he probably wrote it years previously, which is why it sounds different. My favorite song, depending on the day, is "Good Love." Sung in his "Camille" voice (sped up), it's just a happy tune.
He was he was just low on the list and that night he was also inducted into the hall of fame.
I love Another Love with 3rdeyegirl
@@opinionladyyno. He was actually snubbed altogether.
This is great - a lot of stuff added to my list :-) - Thank you for all the recommendations - I'm definitely interested in more by Prince
Yesssss
Prince made everything he touched 1,000 times better. Yes, you should check more of his songs out. I’m sure you’ll get lots of recommendations so I’ll stick to some live performances… America, The Question of U, Shh, Motherless Child, Play That Funky Music/Hollywood Swinging/Fantastic Voyage, Nothing Compares 2 U (Glam Slam performance), Love Bizarre (from the Parade Tour with Sheila E), anything from the 2009 Montreux Jazz Fest shows (my favorites are Empty Room/Elixer, Little Red Corvette, and All the Critics Love You), and any performance of Purple Rain. They are all brilliant and different each time. I love the 1985 American Music Awards performance.
First time I saw Prince was in 1979 and through the decades he was Superb with and without Sheila E. On his wing❤😊a true Maestro 😮 even if Eric Clapton wouldn't reprise His solo Prince knocked it out of the house for Him 😮😅!!!
Legend has it that Prince never attended any rehearsals & told the promoters that “Don’t worry I got it covered!!”
Musical genius….he channeled Jimi and SRV that night!$
The drummer said that
the problem is that guitar musicians never listen to Prince cause critics wanted to present him as pop as MJ could be but Prince was 1000 times more than MJ in terms of musicality in pop and as a rocking giant was just as Hendrix could be if he lived more. Then you got his jazz and blues and he is off the hook as santana is and on funk is as James Brown could be and iinnovative as Miles Davis. Still you remember his songs ...Kiss. The best ones are not the mainstream and all iin live sets. He said music does nt need to be perfect but different
This is awesome -makes me excited to listen to more music by him! - thank you for the comment 😊
We all know Prince is a guitar legend……we agree on that….most would consider and have considered the song to to be a soulful beautiful song…this is the first time I have heard a negative comment…..but…..that’s music…..everyone has their opinions……it’s how you “absorb” it.
Check out his live performances... NEVER boring!
Prince stole the show
😂It's a tribute to George Harrison. This was his song. His son was in this and looked very much like him
If you like great guitar work by prince I suggest Prince’s entire “2007 half time Super Bowl set” done in the rain and ruined all the guitars played. Prince’s cover of Creep (Radiohead) Coachella. Prince’s “little red corvette” live montreux 2009 concert.
If you want showmanship and a funky Prince time I suggest “ D.M.S.R live musicology tour in Detroit 2004” or “the question of U musicology tour 2004”, or “Prince live play that funky music/ Hollywood swinging.”
This is great thankyou, ive added these onto my list - Superbowl sounds like a great one to do
If you watch really closely there are times where Jeff Lynne Danny Harrison Tom Petty are all smiling from ear-to-ear what does that tell you witnessing greatness
Watch him cover Play that funky music. 17 days live. The question of U live. His cover of Creep at Coachella music festival. So so many love performances that will blow your mind.
45
The question of U is so good
Ive added it to my list- thank you :-)
AZIMOV THIS PRINCE LIVE PERFORMANCE OF PURPLE RAIN IS A MUST..... CHECK IT OUT Prince and The Revolution - Purple Rain (Live in Syracuse, March 30, 1985)
Amazing thank you - ive added it to my list :-)
Check out Empty Room from him in Montreux Jass Fest in 2099 or the 12,000 songs available on YT. Just search for Prince live. They were all blocked before he died. He is a f*cking genius, playing, composing, writing all of his songs and producing all of his side projects, The Time, Vanity 6, The Bangles,, Madonna, Sinaed O'Conner etc...
YES u have the balls to say I do not like the beatles...I second that emotion!! Boring is the perfect word 4 the "greatest roc n roll band"
haha, thank you - i did feel like it was going to get crucified for saying it - but im not going to pretend to like something - i had to delete one comment because it was nothing but abuse because i said i didn't like it - haha oh well ... im glad you agree 😁
Prince was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that year. One of the greatest solos I've ever seen (and that goes back quite a few years). Part Eddie Van Halen and part Jimi Hendrix, Prince never got the recognition of being an amazing guitarist.
I suggest u listen to Helter skelter, revolution, and oh Darling for starters if u think the Beatles r boring. If u still think they r after hearing those songs then best wishes to u
He's just straight nasty with a guitar, but he generally didn't show it off like that.
yer, i did think he was kind of showing off :-/ .... ill def give him another go and see what hes like in his own environment
@@Azimov-REACTS hell guitarists are meant to show off, that was a badass solo over a chord change that deserved it. That said, he was def a weird dude lol
Check out one of his early songs "Bambi" if you like hearing him on guitar, you'll probably like it - even Ellen Degeneres liked it - her show producers on the other hand - cut it from her show.
Check out Prince "Empty Room/Elixir live in Montreux 2009
perfect, thank you - ive added it to my list of songs
check dortmund 1988 he sold his soul to the audience
Try little red corvette, he dances too.
Ive added it to my list - Thank you 😊
You are spot on here! While it’s a nice song to maybe listen to in your car, it did/does tend to drone on, but then BOOM, Prince just electrified the whole vibe, performance so much that a song that again, was droning on, you didn’t want it to end!!
yes!! im glad you agree - thanks for watching and commenting 😊

Guys you need to zoom in on your faces. I’m watching this one my phone and I can’t see any of your reactions.
They all looked and sounded comatose before Prince entered the picture.
completely agree!
Come on let's be nice...prince was a show off because he earned the right to be one!
Exactally right … if I could play the guitar even remotely like he does … I’d show off too haha
A boring song ? You must be kidding. Eric Clapton played lead guitar on the original Beatles recording. He’s probably boring to you too.
Original is so much better than this…
This was a waste of time.
A couple of bland, lifeless, uninteresting and deeply musically ignorant people discussing things beyond their limited reach.
