    I always considered the Armada an affordable Landcruiser. I would get one over the new Landcruiser.

    • @Jay-me7gw
      @Jay-me7gw หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      The new Land Cruiser is not a 300 series, it’s a Land Cruiser Prado, so I think everyone interest in a real Land Cruiser would buy the Armada over the fake LC we get here. The only 300 series we get is the LX600

       Hmm..but lx600 is also proper 5 seater only not comparable to comfortable 8 seater new armada

    I really hope this is the start of a resurgence of Nissan. They have been floundering for so long but it SEEMS like they’re starting to find an identity. One of their major competitors, Toyota, seems set on moving up to different pricing level than Nissan leaving plenty of room for them to expand their market share in the more value focused customer segment.
    My wife is dead set on a large SUV for her next vehicle and based on at least initial MSRP, the Armada is top of our list now. If for nothing else Nissan seems to at least understand that the average customer isn’t keeping up with inflation.

    • @scott8238
      @scott8238 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I bought a new Titan over the competition and Nissan deserves more respect for build quality and reliability then they are given. I then bought my wife a new rouge and even that vehicle surprises everyone who rides in it.

      Agreed, not only that but base models are become so feature rich that they are what luxury models used to be only a short time ago. I get it, companies have to survive by making each vehicle more profitable for them so they don’t have to rely on sales volume as much, but it’s still not pleasant to think about how much people will need to spend if/when it comes time for their next car purchase.

    Well, the developing countries in Asia and Middle East markets where the Patrol/Armada is popular, they will actually save some fuel since most of the time they are moving slow in heavy traffic and idling. Having 8 cylinders doing nothing will use more fuel than 6 of them. However, on-boost they use just as much if not more fuel.

      @gpaje หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@RedEemblem Exactly right, which I mentioned on my post, on-boost they use just as much if not more fuel. But, idling along at no boost, they use less fuel. It's one or the other, you either have the power or you have the fuel economy, you cannot have both at the same time, especially with a big truck.

      You can thank the EPA for the regulations on manufacturers.

    Car makers must know car journalists don't like piano black but remain defiant and even putting it on steering wheels now. Ugly rear side but the rest is great.

      Customers will need to retaliate against piano black by covering it with a vinyl wrap.

    That you couldn't find time to hoover that car you've been given free of charge before you filmed it, should really make you quite ashamed. 😢

    I really like it, I'll be curious to mess around with the configurator once it goes live. SL 4wd with a couple options is probably pushing $70k I'd guess.

    Shit you guys are losing your "You Saw it 1st on TFL" and you're dropping in views, Bigly.
    Car Confections yesterday pasted the Armada & Nissan USA had more views. Damn.
    Okay back to Armada, it's got the Best Seat's in any SUV/Truck category hands down or was that cheeks down, whatever they can't be beat.

    Mpg doesn’t improve much. You’re still only getting 17-18 mpg combined in the new 2025. 1-2 mpg better than the 2024 v8. Basically garbage in any year model.
