Honestly the QX80 of the last years was already that. I've had one for a bit over 8 years now and it has been nothing short of incredible. I have the air suspension as well and it is very comfortable and smooth even off road. We have had no major issues with the truck, it has never left us stranded, and its performance is great. I was just doing some testing last night after doing a Direct Injection treatment (to prevent carbon build up) and it does 0-55MPH in 4.8 seconds, 5.8 to 60 (just due to me shifting it a bit early).

I have had my Patrol for nearly 2 months now (in the UAE) and so far I agree with most of what you said. I chose the 3.8 V6 and standard suspension as I plan to keep it for at least a decade and have no need for fancy features, only reliability.
So far, here are some things I’ve found:
    1) The car is very quiet at any speed but at above 90MPH (we have roads with 100MPH/160KMH speed limits) there is slightly more wind noise for rear passengers. I investigated and found that only the front had double glazing for the windows, which I was a bit disappointed about. That said, it is essentially a non-issue, and the sound system easily drowns it out.
    2) The electric steering is quite dull, but that is to be expected with any modern car with electric steering.
    3) The dual screen setup and heads up display is rather distracting (modern car issue). The sound system is extremely bass heavy and slightly muddy, but after playing with it a little I have found a setup I enjoy.
    4) The build quality is very good, interior quality better than a Land Cruiser and comparable to a Land Rover Defender. The leather is great and the piano black is entirely free of scratches so far, but we will have to see about long term durability.
    5) Occupant comfort is excellent. All seats are exceptionally comfortable and there are multiple charging ports for each passenger. Rear seats have an optional screen. Oddly, there is no integrated sunshade for the rear doors. Maybe they’ll add it later or for different markets, but I don’t have them on mine (fully loaded except air suspension) and I haven’t seen any with them.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I will try to answer them.

From my seat this is one of the few modern vehicles that'll outlive it's "standard loan" in the USA and the value comes at exactly that. It'll be paid off and have years left. Vs some of these new Toyotas that are 80k and turn to piles after the 2nd year

I have the 2021 Nissan Armada SL with four wheel drive, and I just love this vehicle. It now has over 40,000 mi and I am very happy that I purchased the last of the V8 engines along with the seven speed automatic transmission which has proven extremely reliable for the past 30 years. The one thing I worry about the new Nissan Armada is the unproven reliability of the V6 with turbo and the nine speed automatic transmission. To be honest, the outgoing model is pretty good off-road too, It lacks the locking diffs -- but then so do a lot of 4Runners. It would have no problems with the test course. We have a '21 SL to which we added AT tires and a front skid plate. We've done some kind of gnarly things out in the southwest (e.g. low and medium levels in OnX Offroad), and it's done very well. We got into some situations where the 4LO was definitely needed as was the front camera to see over steep rises. The new Pro-4X looks great, but the other models (and the previous years) are pretty capable too (even if very few owners use it for off-roading). Our '21 is also hella comfortable for long road trips. If you can't afford one of the new ones, maybe look at one coming off a rental lease -- you can get some pretty great deals on 2-3 year old versions.

Nothing wrong with that obviously, and most people would never be in a position to need a rear locker or rear and front locker - certainly not in a $80000 vehicle in North America.
