I have the Walkstool and I love it. Sturdy and strong. I use it for shopping as I cannot stand for long periods. I have worn out the rubber pieces on the bottom and replaced with rubber pieces for crutches from CVS. I see Amazon sells new seats, which I will need next. I have had mine 4 years and I carry it everywhere and use it just about everyday and also fits in my backpack. It has been a lifesaver for me or anyone with knee issues or you cannot stand for long periods. Also you can buy it according to your height. I highly recommend this company and their stool.
It's nice to see the enthusiasm of a fellow Walkstool Comfort 55/22 owner! I wanted a good quality stool that wasn't going to collapse in use or split it's fabric seat, and after some research, I found a few reviews for this model. The quality is outstanding, as is the capacity of the stool, beautifully demonstrated on the Walkstool website by having a Volvo estate car lowered onto Walkstools which fully support it's weight! This is one of thise products which is truly an investment in one's comfort, support and relaxation, and being so lightweight it invariably goes everywhere with it's owner. I have found that a small, padded tripod case fits this model perfectly and weighs virtually nothing, and I prefer it to the original carrying bag.
Had a walk stool for 15 years. It is very heavy for the utility. It's build quality is great, just heavy. Never was able to use as a backrest comfortably. Found the utility of a n under ten dollar stool greater because it could fit on the outside of my ruck.
It’s a great idea and seems to be engineered well. I’m in the crowd of “need a place to sit” but do not want to carry 2lbs. Wish they made a shorter lighter version that was 1lb or less. It’s kind of competing with the Helinox Chair Zero.
Thank you for the great information I Carrie a small chair when I go backpacking or camping and when I go car camping I take a bigger camping chair but this is a really nice option because this still weighs less than my backpacking chair but I really like the fact that I'm sitting up off the ground
Because it is made in Sweden I think they have same kind of safety regulations like we have in Finland. So it should hold at least 1485 pounds or 675 kg .
i'm an amateur wildlife photographer and this stool seems perfect for me, just something to keep in my rucksack and to be able to take out at any time to have a comfy place to sit sounds great, how tall are you btw? i'm 6 foot and i'm planning on getting the 65cm model
There is also a budget version called the 'basic' models, much cheaper but not as strong, not as durable. Better to pay more and get the main version, the 'comfort' models.

Would be great for me I’ve got knee and back issues so it would be awesome for those time I need to sit but can’t.
Thank you that’s a must for me but if you do break something is it one and done .

A (expensive) Solution looking for a problem = "All the gear..." You know the rest. No offense meant but isn't this channel called Budget Bugout?
