I tell my family, not to say anything to anyone. If you tell a good friend, the next thing he's having coffee with a family member and mentions O, so, so, has ?????, he wasn't even thinking of it, it was in conversation, will now the cat is out. The next thing you know, you are robbed. Also, if you let everyone know you carry, you become the first target.
I am pulling away from the Tacticool Bags... I love my maxpedition vulture 2 / 3 day pack ...but it is huge for an edc. I moved into a 5.11 rush 12 back pack...it works for me. If i need to go grayman..I will cover it with a garbage bag..LOL
I have 3 lines of packs, tactical, old school military rucksacks , and your run of the mill common backpackers and hikers day pack, I carry two of these versions of my packs in my truck or car on a daily basis to cover whatever my mission is for the day, I might start out in the bush but end up in a very public park such as a state or national park with lots of diversity so I can change gear to fit grey man in the environment I’m in, I do the same thing with my clothing, sometimes it’s just a matter of changing a hat and shirt
I appreciate it. And for the glasses, so Gray Man is to blend in with civilians which these accomplish. I do have Ray Bans that I wear too but they aren’t safety rated to say the least lol
I’ll make my own video but: at school I carried a jansport bag with my preps with my medical fanny pack tucked in a duffel bag with my school stuff. Only time I was compromised was when friends went through my stuff.

So I get being kind of "incognito" of being a grey man but I don't think it really matters. I wear earthy tones pretty much every day at work and in "play". I have tacticle things and not so tacticle things. The things I carry on my person everyday and my lunch box I can get home in just about every situation. I might drop some items and consolidate because I use a bag for my lunch and one for my drinks I probably move things to my backpack cooler that I use for my drinks and move. But in a situation where shtf I don't care if I look tacticle or not I'm worried about getting home and moving to my spot. This whole idea of grey man is silly. You know I have this or that or assume because I know people who wear "tacticle" things but couldn't survive a night in their own back yard. So my backpack have molle webbing maybe I like to hang a speaker while I hike or hang my keys or a solar charge so I can charge my phone because I know I won't be around power for a long time. There are so many uses for things that are "tacticle" to make an assumption is stupid. I have a friend that has a tacticle backpack and he carries his laptop in it maybe a snack and other random officey things but he likes the bag. Idk I suppose it just doesn't make sense to me but to each their own blend in or be yourself idc
There is know thing wrong with warring molle to events or to work is just fine . Been doing this for 36 years and warring pants with pockets . Dress your skill level and be who you are . Who cares what society thinks of you i do not ! Ware the gear that helps to help the next . Molle gear actually give you a quicker on scene response time to certain kit . The right clothes allow you to gear placement to make you a smooth responder . There is not a day or night that goes by that i do not ware the right gear .
I think what he is getting at is don't show others around you that you are prepared. Be secretive so others don't know you have anything. If others think you have the gear, weapons, food and are prepared when the shit hits the fan then you will be a target for others.

Great video. Pretty flashy sunglasses. I wouldn't wear those.

I don't mean any offence, but I think your more likely to attract more attention with those sunglasses.
Great message.
