Alexei singing his song reminded me of my of friend Daniel the king of Scotland from Glasgow. he died last year in Conakry , Guinea. Wonderfully amusing & mad. He was forever on about the speed of time out something equally crazy.
That was an excellent listen, thank you. I learnt a lot from that. Long live free speech and free thought. PS The Young Ones episodes on BBC iPlayer have been so heavily edited that they are almost unwatchable for me anyway.

Good to read today that Nish Kumar has joined boycott of the Hay Festival as it’s sponsored by Baillie Gifford who have big Israeli investments. I’ve tweeted others who still seem to be going (including Shappi Khorsandi) urging them to boycott but no response yet.
Re echo problems in audio. Waves audio makes plugins that can really help with that. Just open the plugin(s) on the audio tracks in your DAW and sprinkle to taste. I haven't personally tried the dereverb and clarity vx but they are well regarded and I use loads of other waves plugins. There are also tons of very very good free plugins that do that kind of thing & many are open source too. Of course, it's better to treat the room, even blankets clipped to a makeshift frame near those speaking to manage the issue at source rather fix it in post. Sorry if I'm telling you what you all ready know.
