Godox AD300 Battery (WB30P) Not charging | FIXED

Godox AD300 Pro battery WB30P got into a state of not charging after keeping not being used for months. This video shows the fix for it.

Just did this process with a $40 power supply found on Amazon, a "Nice-Power SPS-305". The hardest part is getting the battery casing off w/out destroying it. Once you remove the label - just keep tapping all around the seam, as seen in this video. Eventually one side will pop off. The other is held in by glue and harder to remove, but keep gently working it until its off.
NOTE: I did not have to reset anything on the board. Once the cover is off - I hooked up my power supply (set to 1.1A, 16.8v which is what is shown on the charger as it's output). I calmped the leads onto the charging wings (double check your positive & negative) and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Held the casing on while I put it back in the charger and it started charging away.

Happy that it started charging again. Keep an eye on the battery. I have seen someone saying there are chances that the battery go back to that dormant state again if we keep it idle without using.

I am having similar issue on 2 of my batteries. Can you suggest which external power source should I use?

We used a custom home made power supply. It's a transformer based regulated power supply. We started with 6v and gradually increased to 18v. Try using a regulated power supply with a voltage controller. If you have access to any electronic technician they might have similar type of power supply, try borrowing from them.

Just leave it on the charger for around 20 minutes it will be back to charging 😂

Thanks for the advice. But it didn't worked that way. On searching we can see similar issues with godox battery from different products like AD200 and 400
